Project Astral

Project Astral is a custom Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a server focused on long-term account-wide progression, group-based PvE content and custom endgame systems. The server features a huge Astral Tree with well over 1000 nodes, allowing players to unlock stats, quality-of-life perks, profession bonuses and special features over time. Progression is account-wide, so your time investment matters across all characters. Project Astral also includes Astral Gems, a custom gem system where players can socket class-based abilities into their gear. These gems can proc during combat, be upgraded over multiple tiers, and later include powerful Mythic variants from raid bosses with their Spells. Raiding is a major focus of the project, with Flex Raids, Mythic Raids, raid ID resets, Prestige progression, a Token Store, account-wide mounts, pets, titles, achievements, riding skills, profession and recipes and an account-wide Reagent Bank.

Our Features

The Astral Tree

One of our Core features, we got a fully Skillable Astral Tree with over 1200 Nodes to skill in. But what can u Skill there?

Feeling too weak defensively? Spend your hard-earned tokens on Stamina, Dodge Rating, or other defensive nodes.

Missing too many hits? The Astral Tree has your back.

Want to see that Chaosbolt hitting much harder? There is also Spellpower in the Tree!

In a rush, but the Wind Rider NPC gives you that old slow Windrider that barely makes it from Orgrimmar to Crossroads? Unlock Instant Flight. Or even better, increase your own movement speed, mount speed, and flight speed through the tree.

Did the tank pull the whole dungeon, and after barely surviving, there are corpses everywhere to loot? Want to save your mouse button from dying early? Put points into AoE Loot and loot nearby corpses at once.

Created a new Alt and dont want to spend hours of hours leveling again? Put them into the Exp Nodes

The Astral Tree Covers every Stat u can think about to enhance your Character! All of that Accountwide and without the need to to pay anything for removing nodes or Reseting the Tree. All of that is for Free and can be done as much as u want!

Our Vision with this Tree was inspired by the huge Tree in PoE. Dont wanna lie here!

Astral Gems

Ever wanted to proc heals as a Rogue with your poisons? Throw Pyroblasts as a Druid? Tickle your enemies with Chain Lightning as a Warrior?

Throughout your journey, you will obtain Astral Gems and Scrolls, which can drop from a variety of activities such as killing rares, defeating dungeon and raid bosses, leveling up, killing rares or can be extracted from The Astral Table

Astral Gems can contain special proc effects based on class abilities. By combining different proc events, spells, and playstyles, you can create a huge amount of different builds and force insane Chainproc effects.

But it does not stop with class abilities!

Want to steal Ragnaros Elemental Fire ability? Kill him on Mythic difficulty, and with a bit of luck, you may be rewarded with a Mythic Astral Gem containing his power!

Levelreward and The Astral Table

All of our systems are meant to be synergistic with each other. Best example is the Level Reward system and Astral Table. On each level-up, you can decide between 3 items, based on your class and level.

Even if not a single one of those 3 items fits your playstyle, you can take the item and permanently destroy it in the Astral Table.

Here you can destroy up to 9 items at once. For each item, you get a chance to receive a random Gem, a scroll to add a socket to your item for a Gem, or a scroll to remove a Gem from a gear piece.

All of that is based on the item you put in. Higher item level + higher item quality means a higher tier Gem.

But look out! Some of these items don't have a level requirement. Maybe they can be useful on your next Prestige? Mhh?

Raiding, ID Lockouts and Flex Raiding

All our raids are balanced down to 6 players! But this doesn't mean you can't enter with your full 40-man raid group. All of that scales up to its original raid size based on how many players are inside!All raids are tuned with the Astral Gems and Astral Tree in mind. So no, one-shotting any boss with a Chain proc won't be a thing!

So be prepared — Magmadar has not been fed for months during development, so do not expect a "cold" welcome inside Molten Core.

Playing alts don't have to be a pain

All of our systems are account-wide. Starting from your Astral Tree, Mounts, Pets, Achievements, Flight Points, Professions, and Recipes. Even the progress that counts toward your Great Vault Objectives!

How to Earn Tokens?

But now that I talked about tokens and what you can do with them, I will not leave out the important part:

Tokens are used throughout almost all our systems. There is even a Leaderboard for them.

But how do you actually earn them?

Earning them is pretty simple. You receive tokens from different activities, such as Leveling up, Killing dungeon Bosses, Killing raid Bosses, and Prestiging.

And if you want to Prestige, just visit Chromie in Stormwind or Orgrimmar.

Yes, those Bronze Drakes can be in two places at the same time. Weird, right?

Talk to her, and she will send you back to level 1, rewarding you with a good amount of tokens for your next journey.

The Great Vault

The Great Vault is placed in Stormwind and Orgrimmar inside of the Auction House. Offering Additional ways to earn Tokens.
Offering different Objectives and rewards based on your progress inside of the Week or the day. Also offering a daily login bonus just for showing up!

- Weekly Objectives can be claimed after The Week Ends.
- Daily objectives can be claimed as soon as they are completed

At a later point the Objectives will rotate in a daily and weekly cycle.
