Fólkvangr is a World of Warcraft Vanilla realm running on the 1.12 client with a stable CMaNGOS core. The goal of the server is to recreate the classic World of Warcraft experience as closely as possible while keeping the project community-driven and welcoming to both new and experienced players.

The server runs with x1 rates and focuses on the original progression of Vanilla WoW. Leveling, dungeons, professions, and the in-game economy are designed to feel familiar to anyone who remembers the early years of the game.

Alongside the core gameplay, the realm includes a custom web portal where players can interact with their characters outside the game. Through the portal, characters can participate in small adventure tasks that return materials, gold, or occasional items through in-game mail once completed. Profession-related tasks are also available, allowing characters to bring back resources such as leather or other materials.

These systems are meant to complement gameplay rather than replace it, giving players something fun to do between play sessions while keeping the core experience firmly rooted in classic Vanilla mechanics.

The realm runs 24/7 and is actively maintained, with ongoing improvements to both the server and the website systems. The focus is long-term stability, a friendly community, and a relaxed environment where players can experience Vanilla WoW again or discover it for the first time.
