Lightweight addon that color codes elemental damage/resistances in item & spell tooltips, color codes item tooltip borders based on rarity, and class names in item tooltips.

Features:

Item tooltip class name colors. Class restriction lines (for example Class: Warrior) on item tooltips have each class name colored in its official class color.

Item tooltip rarity borders. Borders are colored based on the item's rarity.

Color coded damage/resistance type. Tooltip lines containing damage/resistance types are colored automatically. Fire, Frost, Arcane, Holy, Nature, and Shadow each get color coded. An uppercase element followed by an uppercase "Resistance" or "Damage" will color code the entire string (for example: Fire Resistance, Shadow Damage).

Slash Commands:

/chromatic or /chrc followed by:

 class - toggle item tooltip class name color coding

 border - toggle color coded item tooltip borders

 element - toggle damage/resistance type color coding

 status - show current addon settings

Compatibility:

Chromatic will detect and color code tooltips from the following addons: AdvancedTradeSkillWindow2, AtlasLoot, AtlasQuest, aux, pfUI, ShaguTweaks, Tmog. 

If Chromatic doesn't color code tooltips from a specific addon you're using, then please open an issue on Chromatic's github page.

Known Issues:

Since the game has quite a large amount of items and spells, some of them may have their tooltips erroneously color coded. I've tried adding as many exceptions as I could find to the addon's exceptions segment, but if any were missed, then simply open up Chromatic.lua and go to local EXCEPTIONS to add the offending string. It should stand to reason that servers with custom items and spells will require a decent amount of exceptions added to that segment.
