A different approach to saving chat between sessions and after reloads.
Unlike addons such as Elephant or Prat, TrueChatFrameHistory saves all ChatFrames exactly as they are.
Every line, including what addons change and print, is preserved as you see them.
Temporary frames such as whisper tabs and Pet Battle Logs are also supported.

When TrueChatFrameHistory restores chat, it overwrites anything that happens during loading.
This usually consists of "addon load spam" and your guild's message of the day.
TrueChatFrameHistory lets you know what you missed upon entering the game.
You can permanently dismiss this frame by holding alt, ctrl, or shift while clicking "Dismiss".

Basic support is available for font, font size, font flags, fade time, and max lines.

Typing /tcfh will print help text for available options.
