A customizable scrolling chat frame that displays filtered messages with emoji support, compatible with all WoW versions.
Scrolling Chat Text (SCT) enhances your World of Warcraft experience by displaying chat messages in a separate, customizable scrolling frame on your screen. Perfect for keeping important messages visible while you focus on gameplay, this addon works seamlessly across all WoW versions including Classic Era, Burning Crusade Classic, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Cataclysm Classic, Mists of Pandaria Classic, and Retail.
The idea for this addon was sparked by Novaspark's Nova Raid Companion's Scrolling Raid Events module.

 

Smart Message Filtering

 

  • Filter messages by keywords with multiple match types (Begins with, Ends with, Contains, Exact Match)
  • Case-sensitive and case-insensitive filtering options
  • Enable/disable individual filters on the fly
  • Default filter included for World Buff announcements

Customizable Display

 

  • Adjustable frame size, position, and transparency
  • Customizable font, font size, and text colors
  • Optional background with adjustable opacity
  • Control which chat types to display (Guild, Party, Raid, Whispers, etc.)
