WoW Forever Tracker
WoW Forever Tracker (WFT) is a free companion website and in-game addon for WoW Forever and Classic Era. It takes your actual character (level, quests done, professions, gear, talents) and works out what to do next: the fastest route to your next level, the cheapest way to level a profession, which gear upgrades matter for your class, and where to farm for gold. Its game data is read straight from the game client, and players fill in what Forever adds as they play.
What it does
Planner
- Home: your character at a glance, with progress to the next level, the quickest route from here, your professions and when to train them, your best gear upgrades and dungeons at your level.
- Route: the fastest quest path to a goal level or quest. It's drawn on the game's own zone maps, with a time estimate for each step, and you can send it into the game as a step-by-step guide.
- Dungeons: which instances suit your level, and what they're worth.
Professions
- Levelling & farming: a step-by-step plan from your current skill to your goal, with every reagent you'll need. Where to farm finds the best spot for a herb, ore, skin or any reagent, and leaves out zones that are too dangerous for your level.
- Market: the most profitable recipes and the best gold-per-hour farming spots, priced from your own auction house scans.
Character
- Stats: a full analysis built on the character sheet the game itself calculates, covering damage, healing, effective health against physical and magic damage, and how attacks land.
- Character window: laid out like the in-game one, with real item icons and game-accurate tooltips, including Use and proc effects and set bonuses.
- Gear upgrades: the best upgrade for every slot, ranked for your class. Hovering an item compares it side by side with what you're wearing, the way holding Shift does in game. A shopping list covers every slot, with where each item comes from.
- Talents: a talent planner with each rank's real description.
Data
- What's new: what each client patch changed.
- Game data: a searchable browser for quests, items, NPCs, spells and more.
- Share quests: upload what you've discovered in Forever so everyone's routes improve.
Every table can be sorted by clicking its column headings.
The addon
Download it from the site and unzip it into your AddOns folder. The same addon works in both WoW Forever and Classic Era.
- Character sync: level, XP, gold, completed quests, professions, reputation, flight paths, gear and stats, ready to import on the site.
- Quest collection: records Forever's new quests (who gives them, where objectives happen, rewards), which no public database has yet.
- Field notes: where creatures and gathering nodes actually are, and what they drop.
- Route guide: paste a route from the site and it walks you through each step, advancing by itself as quests progress (with a TomTom arrow if you use it).
- Prices: a Scan now button on the auction house, or Auctionator's prices. After a scan it offers a one-click reload so the prices are saved right away.
The addon only reads what the game already shows you. It never plays for you, bids, buys or posts.
Privacy
- Your characters are kept in your own browser, not on a server.
- Sharing sends only quests and field notes: never character names, realms, gold or prices.
- Every upload is reviewed before it's used.
Where the data comes from
- The game itself: items, spells, talents, zones, maps and icons are read from the installed game client and kept up to date with each patch.
- Classic Era references: quests, NPCs, drop chances and spawn points come from QuestieDB and cMaNGOS.
- Players: Forever's own quests, spawns and drops come from what players share through the addon. Where Forever's own data is still missing, Classic Era's fills the gaps.
