TheWoWDB – Forever

TheWoWDB - Forever is the auction house addon from thewowdb.com, built for World of Warcraft: Forever.

It adds a TheWoWDB tab to the auction house, next to Buy, Sell and Auctions. Open it and you get a full posting page:

Your sellable bag items are listed down the left. Pick one and you see every live listing of that item: seller, time left, quantity, bid and buyout, cheapest first, with your own auctions highlighted.

The price fills in at one copper under the cheapest competitor, read live from the auction house. Click any listing to undercut that one instead, or type your own price, stack size and duration. Then press Post. One click, one auction. The addon never posts, buys or cancels anything on its own.

Scan reads the whole auction house in the background. Item tooltips then show one clean line: the current lowest auction price on your realm. Nothing else is added to your tooltips.

Below vendor: after a scan, the Below vendor button on the tab lists only the auctions priced under what a vendor pays for the item, best profit first. Fetch checks the live price, then one click buys that one auction.

Send to TheWoWDB saves your scan for the TheWoWDB desktop client. That is how player-provided prices reach thewowdb.com, which is rolling out through the Forever beta. Sending reloads your interface, because that is the only moment the game writes addon data to disk. It only happens when you click it.

No libraries, no dependencies, no data collected beyond auction prices from scans you choose to send. Character names of sellers are shown to you in game and are never included in a scan.

TheWoWDB is a fan site. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.

Looking for retail? That is a separate addon: TheWoWDB Companion.
