The Fishing Log - fishing tracker, records and tournaments for WoW: Forever

The Fishing Log is a fishing addon for World of Warcraft: Forever (Classic+). It weighs every fish you catch, keeps records for every lake and river, and lets you run fishing competitions against other anglers on your realm.

Every catch gets a weight. Every spot has records to beat. Every angler with the addon is a rival.

Features

Fishing log - starts when you cast, tracking catches, weights, fish per hour and session time, then adds up your totals and ranks your fishing spots by which one actually pays.
Double-click to cast - right-click the water to cast, and again to land the fish, with your fishing skill on the board. Right-click still turns the camera the rest of the time.
Specimens - rare monster fish, only found in their native waters.
Fishing tournaments - host a match at your spot, invite anglers by name, and start now or in a few minutes so people can travel. Solo or teams, with several scoring formats.
Event noticeboard - post a fishing event for later, others sign up, and it starts itself when the time comes. Guild-only events supported.
Spot records and leaderboards - all-time and seasonal records for every fishing spot. Land the heaviest fish and you're King of the Lake; click anyone's record to set a waypoint to the water it was set on.
Realm hall of fame - the heaviest catch on your realm and every angler holding a record. Records pass from angler to angler, so your leaderboard fills in with players you've never fished beside.
Feeding frenzies and daily bounties - timed windows where fish run heavy, and a new target fish every day.
Angler's Journal, ranks and titles - collect every fish, rank up from Minnow to Legend of the Deep, and earn titles like King of the Lake or Tournament Champion.
Fishing tooltips - your personal best and the specimen range on each fish, plus rank, titles and what they're fishing on other anglers.
Catch value - what your haul is worth, and your gold an hour, using your own auction house prices.
Fishing tools - lure timer and reminder, one-click lure, fishing pole swap and gear sets.

Getting started

Go fishing - your log starts on the first cast. Try /tfl cast for double-click casting, /tfl host to start a match where you're stood, and /tfl board to arrange a fishing tournament for later. Type /tfl for every command.

Compatibility

Built for World of Warcraft: Forever (Classic+). It runs happily alongside other fishing addons such as Fishing Buddy, Angleur and CFC, and reads auction prices from Auctionator or TSM when you have them. No other addons are required.

FAQ

Do other players need the addon?
Only to compete. Your fishing log, journal and ranks work on your own.

Are the fish weights real?
No - WoW has no fish weights, so the addon assigns them, using the same rules for every player.

Is this an auto-fisher?
No. Nothing fishes for you - casting and landing the fish are your own clicks, and the addon only puts them on a button you choose.

Is the catch value real gold?
No - it's an estimate of what your fish would sell for, from your own Auctionator or TSM prices (or vendor prices). It's only for your own log; matches and records never use it.
