Soundbook – WoW Ingame Soundboard

Soundbook is a plug-and-play WoW ingame soundboard with 80+ sounds already included. Install the addon, launch World of Warcraft and start playing sounds immediately. No downloading sound packs, editing files or manually adding audio is required.

If you're looking for a World of Warcraft soundboard addon or a Discord-like soundboard for WoW, Soundbook brings that experience directly into the game. Play sounds for yourself or share them with other Soundbook users in your Guild, Party, Raid, Friends list or directly with individual players.

🔊Discord-like Soundboard for WoW

Soundbook is more than a local sound player.

When other players also have Soundbook installed, you can broadcast sounds directly to them using WoW's addon communication system. The audio file itself is not transferred. Soundbook only tells the other addon which locally installed sound to play.

Send sounds to:

Guild
Party / Raid
Friends
Individual players

You can also choose specific Soundbook users instead of sending a sound to everyone in a channel.

It creates a shared soundboard experience directly inside World of Warcraft without needing to play sounds through Discord or your microphone.

⭐World of Warcraft Soundboard Addon with Favourites

Keep the sounds you use most close at hand.

Soundbook includes a dedicated Favourites system with fixed slots that can be arranged the way you want. Your favourite sounds can be accessed from the main Sound Library or through the compact Mini Soundbook.

Favourite slots can also be assigned to keybinds, making reactions and sound effects available without opening the full addon.

📢Compact Announcer & Mini Soundbook

Soundbook includes a lightweight HUD designed to stay out of the way during gameplay.

The Announcer remains compact when idle and expands when a sound is playing to show the current sound and playback progress.

Open the Mini Soundbook to quickly access your favourite sounds without opening the complete Sound Library.

Size, opacity, popout direction and other interface options can be customized.

⌨️Multiplayer Controls

Soundbook gives you control over both sending and receiving sounds.

You can configure which channels you want to receive sounds from, mute individual sounds or players, temporarily mute incoming sounds and control how multiplayer playback behaves.

Raid and Party leaders also have additional controls for managing Soundbook usage within their group.

🔎Find and Organize Sounds

The main Sound Library provides a clean interface for browsing your available sounds.

You can:

Search sounds by name
Browse sound categories
Collapse categories you don't currently need
Create Favourites
Customize sound names and icons
Choose default output targets
Access recently received sounds through Sound History

🎵Add Your Own Custom Sounds

The main Soundbook addon already includes 80+ ready-to-use sounds, so adding files yourself is completely optional.

Players who want their own personal sound collection can install the separate Soundbook My Sounds companion addon.

This keeps custom .mp3, .ogg and .wav files separate from the main Soundbook installation so normal Soundbook updates do not replace them.

You do not need Soundbook My Sounds to use Soundbook.

🌍Made for Social WoW Gameplay

Soundbook works as a normal personal soundboard even if nobody else has it installed.

But when friends, guild members or raid members use Soundbook too, it becomes a shared social soundboard built directly into World of Warcraft.

Use it for reactions, memes, raid moments, guild banter, celebrations or simply to have your favourite sounds available while playing.
