ShieldSence – Forever

ShieldTracker is a lightweight WoW Forever addon that shows how much absorb protection you have left on active shields.

It currently supports Priest Power Word: Shield and Mage Ice Barrier, giving you a simple on-screen bar with the remaining shield amount so you can quickly see how much protection is left during combat.

Designed to be clean, minimal and easy to read without cluttering your UI.

How to use: Cast a fresh shield, then click the shield icon provided to set its current amount as the full bar. The bar will decrease as damage is absorbed. Repeat when your shield’s strength changes.

Why this is needed: WoW Forever restricts access to some shield values, so the addon cannot always determine the shield’s original maximum automatically. That is why we click the shield icon after casting a shield to tell it the max value (only done once per login OR when a new shield rank is learnt)
