savyUI
Automation
- Auto-repair when visiting a repair vendor.
- Auto-sell junk when visiting a merchant.
Unit Frame Enhancements
- Show beneficial buffs on enemy NPC nameplates and temporary buffs on enemy player nameplates, providing a workaround for the currently non-working built-in settings.
- Enemy-player buffs are limited to a full duration of 20 seconds or less, with an optional Ignore HoTs filter.
- Scale NPC and enemy-player buff icons separately from 100% to 150% of Blizzard's size.
- Show native Blizzard numbers on buffs and debuffs applied by you on target and focus frames.
- Display estimated range on your target and focus frames.
Tooltip Enhancements
- Display relevant auras above unit tooltips:
- debuffs on friendly units,
- buffs on enemy players,
- your or your pet's debuffs on NPCs.
- Auras follow the tooltip's delay and fade, including with Show Target Tooltip enabled.
- Show who a unit is targeting, with class-colored player names or red YOU when it's you.
- Class-color player names and classes.
- Show caster names, Spell IDs and Item IDs in supported tooltips, when available.
Chat Enhancements
- Adjust the chat frame's height and width, with settings that persist through reloads and logins.
- Show hover tooltips for supported links in chat (items, quests, etc.).
- Highlight names in chat, using the first name of you and your group members.
Zone Map Enhancements
- Optionally keep the Zone Map (Shift+M) visible and adjust its scale, opacity and position.
- Disabled by default, leaving Blizzard's normal map behavior in control.
Aggro Overlay
- Adds colored overlays to nameplates to make threat easier to notice:
- yellow warns about high threat,
- red shows aggro,
- magenta shows lost aggro when tanking.
- Optional PvP support highlights enemy players who are targeting you.
- Customize the appearance with persistent test overlays and optionally show threat percentages.
Reminders
A configurable icon row reminds you about missing personal buffs and selected items. Includes Cozy Sleeping Bag, XP Food Buff, Healthstone, Soul Shards, weapon poisons/stones, gathering tracking, and a warning if your pet is not attacking during combat.
Choose reminders individually and decide whether to hide them while resting or mounted. Warrior shouts can be limited to combat. XP food reminders automatically stop at level 60.
With reminder tooltips enabled:
- Right-click: hide a reminder for 30 minutes, or until
/reload. - Shift + Right-click: disable that reminder completely. Re-enable it in Settings.
Custom Reminders
Add your own missing-buff reminders by entering a Spell ID or dragging a spell or consumable into the list. Custom reminders join the Reminders group and appear when their buff is missing and their spell/item is off cooldown.
Each character has a separate list, with optional animated glows. Right-click snoozes a custom reminder; Shift+Right-click removes it from the list.
Aura Tracker
Track selected buffs active on you, including buffs from other classes such as Bloodlust, Innervate or Power Infusion.
- Add spells or usable items by drag and drop, or enter a Spell ID.
- Native Blizzard duration swipes, countdown numbers and stacks.
- Adjustable appearance and ordering, with optional animated glows in Added Order.
- A separate list for every character.
Cooldown Tracker
Track your chosen spell and item cooldowns by dragging them into the list.
- Native Blizzard cooldown swipes and countdown numbers, including during combat.
- Adjustable icon opacity, size and spacing.
- Added Order, Use Order, Shortest Remaining First or Longest Remaining First.
- A separate list for every character, with no spells or items preselected.
Edit Mode
Move Reminders, Auras and Cooldowns by dragging their previews. Keep groups within the screen and use Defaults to restore their original positions. Finish with Lock or Escape.
Open Edit Mode from the main savyUI settings page or middle-click the minimap button.
Settings
Uses Blizzard's native settings interface, including its search bar, so you can quickly find individual options. Open settings with /savyui, left-click the minimap button, or Options > AddOns > savyUI.
Right-click the minimap button to customize Custom Reminders, Aura Tracker and Cooldown Tracker in one tabbed window. Configuration is available during combat; open the main settings through Blizzard's own menu while fighting.
Settings and Edit Mode positions are account-wide. Tracked lists and their glow choices are character-specific.
No external addons or libraries are required. Client restrictions can limit some tooltip details, range precision and missing-buff updates in combat. Cooldown ordering may use estimates while timing is protected; native swipes and numbers still use Blizzard's timers.
More features are planned. For bug reports or feature requests, please leave a comment.
