QuiverSense

QuiverSense started because I wanted a simple bar showing how much ammo I had left while playing a Hunter.

That is still the main purpose of the addon.

It adds a small configurable HUD that shows your current ammunition count and how full your configured ammo target is.

Over time, a few additional features were added around that:

• Automatic ammo tracking
• Quiver and ammo pouch detection
• Automatic or custom ammo targets
• Low and critical ammo warnings
• Primary and restock ammo selection
• Merchant restocking helpers
• Configurable HUD layout, fonts and visibility
• QuiverSense and WoW Native HUD themes
• In-game configuration

QuiverSense is currently being developed primarily for WoW Forever.

Development

My background is in IT, (wannabe) software development and automation, but Lua and the WoW addon API were new to me when I started this project.

A significant part of the implementation has therefore been built with AI-assisted coding tools. I handle the design, behavior, testing and iteration in-game.

The addon is currently in beta, so some Forever-specific behavior may still change or need adjustments.
