One key. Right mob. First tag.

Queueskip keeps a single macro, named Queueskip, pointed at whatever your quests need next. Put it on an action bar, bind a key, and one press targets the right mob, marks it and casts your cheapest tag spell, so you get the tag first.

#showtooltip Arcane Shot(Rank 1)
/cleartarget [dead][noexists]
/targetexact Defias Pillager
/tm !8
/cast [harm,nodead] Arcane Shot(Rank 1)

Built for World of Warcraft: Forever (Classic+).

Features

  • Follows your quests - focus a quest in the tracker and the macro targets what it needs: the mob to kill, the mob that drops the item you need, or the NPC to hand it in to once you're done (friendly NPCs are only targeted, never attacked).
  • Moves on by itself - when an objective completes, it switches to the next one, then to the hand-in NPC.
  • Knows what drops what - "A Mysterious Message 0/1" resolves to the Defias Messenger. Ships with 1,200+ item-to-mob entries for every Vanilla zone and learns new ones from your own loot, so Forever's new quests are covered after one kill.
  • Picks the mob that's actually there - when several mobs count, the one with a nameplate nearby goes first.
  • Skips tapped mobs - points the macro at a nearby mob nobody else has tagged.
  • Rares tab - lists the rares in your current zone; one click loads them all into the macro.
  • Raid marker - Skull by default (any marker, or off).
  • Rank 1 by default - picks the fastest-landing tag spell your class knows at its cheapest rank.
  • Shows what it's tracking - a small line next to the quest in the objective tracker.

Getting started

  1. Install and /reload.
  2. Click the minimap button (or type /qs) - this creates the Queueskip macro.
  3. Open /macro, drag Queueskip to an action bar and bind that slot.
  4. Focus a quest and press your key.

Is it allowed?

Yes. Queueskip only writes macro text. Targeting, marking and casting happen only when you press the key - one keypress, one action, exactly like a macro you wrote yourself. Nothing fires on its own.

Commands

/qs window - /qs status what the macro holds - /qs marker on|off|0-8 - /qs tapped skip tapped mobs - /qs rares - /qs spell <name|auto> - /qs rank <low|high|n> - /qs melee - /qs show|hide minimap button
