Pet Snack Forever

A happy pet hits harder. One click keeps it that way.

A Happy pet does 125% damage. An unhappy one drops to 75% and starts losing loyalty. Pet Snack Forever tells you the moment your pet gets hungry, picks the right food from your bags, and feeds it in one click. It's built for hunters in World of Warcraft: Forever.

✨ Features

🐾 Know when your pet is hungry

• A clean widget pops up when your pet drops below Happy, or only at Unhappy if you prefer.
• It shows your pet's portrait (edged green, yellow or red for its mood), its name and level, its happiness and damage %, and the food it will eat next.
• While your pet eats, it shows "eating…" with a countdown, and stays up until your pet is happy again.
• Optional sound and chat reminders.

🍖 One-click feeding

• Click the food square on the widget to feed. That's it.
• The button is disabled while your pet is eating, so you never waste food on a double feed.
• Also works from a key binding, or /click PetSnackForeverFeedButton in your own macros.
• The classic "Feed Pet" macro is still kept up to date for your action bars.

🧠 Picks the right food

• Only food your pet's diet allows (meat, fish, bread, cheese, fruit, fungus).
• Food 30+ levels below your pet is skipped, because it won't eat it. Food within 10 levels is preferred, because it's worth the most.
• It uses up your lowest-level food that's still at full value first, then the cheapest, and saves the good stuff for later.
• Well Fed food is kept for you. Your buff food never goes to the pet.
• Small stacks first, to free bag space.

📚 Learns your pet's tastes

• If your pet refuses something ("Your pet doesn't like that food"), Pet Snack remembers that for that kind of pet and picks something else next time.

✋ You're in control

• An options window lists every food in your bags, graded for your current pet: full value, less effective, weak or won't eat, with the reason.
• Click a food to always feed it first. Right-click to never feed it. Shift-click to change what kind of food it is.

🛒 Vendor helper

• At any vendor, a panel lists the food there that your pet eats, best match first, with a Buy button.
• Optional auto top-up: it buys the best food until you have as many feeds as you choose.
• A running low warning when you're down to your last feeds.

⌨️ Commands

Minimap button: left-click opens options, right-click switches Pet Snack on or off.

📌 Good to know

• You can't feed in combat (the game doesn't allow it), so the Feed button greys out until you're out.
• Food is sorted by its English name. If anything is sorted wrong, shift-click it in the food list, or just feed it: Pet Snack learns from what your pet refuses.
• Only does anything on hunters.

📦 Install

1. Download and unzip.
2. Put the PetSnackForever folder in World of Warcraft_classic_beta_InterfaceAddOns (or the same folder in your WoW: Forever install), replacing any old copy.
3. The folder must be named exactly PetSnackForever.
