PatchVault

Every alt at a glance. PatchVault reads what the game already knows about each of your characters and puts it on one page at patchvaultapp.com.

One addon for both Retail and WoW Forever; it detects which game it is running in.

What you get

In the game (each part has its own switch, and starts off if you already run an addon that does the same job)

Alts: every character with level, rested XP, gold, raid lockouts, zone and when you last played it.
Gear (WoW Forever): upgrades for the character you are playing, best first, and where each one is: your bags or bank, one of your alts, something your characters can craft, or a dungeon drop around your level.
Dungeons (WoW Forever): every dungeon's quests (done, in your log, or still to pick up and from whom) and its loot by boss, with your upgrades marked. Entering a dungeon prints a one-line summary.
Zones (WoW Forever): every zone's level range and faction, with the ones for your level marked.
Item tooltips that say which of your characters carry an item, and on WoW Forever who can craft it and whether it is an upgrade for you.
A What's new window after every update, and a window in the same look as the website.

On the website, Retail

Great Vault: all three rows, their progress, how many slots you have unlocked and what item level each one pays out. Once the vault has generated and you open it, the actual items it is offering.
Every alt's week at once: one line per character with open vault slots, item level, Mythic+ rating, crests per tier (flagged when you are at the cap) and the nearest vault slot you could still finish. The addon adds your currencies, which Blizzard's API cannot give.

On the website, WoW Forever

All your characters in one table, each with a full character sheet: level, experience, gold, time played, zone, stats, gear, reputations, skills and lockouts.
Bags and bank for every character, and an item search across all of them.
Professions, account-wide, a gear finder across your alts, dungeon loot with upgrade marks, zones and a levelling route planner, and friends and guild pages.

The addon and the website speak English, German, French and Spanish.

Getting it onto the website

Copy and paste: type /pv, the export line is already selected on the Export tab. Copy it and paste it into the site. Nothing to install besides the addon.

Automatically: the free PatchVault desktop app for Windows watches for the addon's saved data and sends it to your PatchVault account whenever the game saves (on /reload or logout). Pair it once and forget about it. The addon's Sync now button saves right away.

You do not need an account: the website keeps everything in your browser. An account (email or Battle.net) makes it the same on every device.

Privacy

Addons have no internet access; World of Warcraft does not allow it. PatchVault only writes its own saved variables, which you copy yourself or the desktop app sends for you. What the website keeps, and for how long, is on the privacy page.
