Mouselook Forever

Steer with your mouse. Never lose your cursor.

Mouselook Forever gives WoW: Forever an action-camera feel. Press a key and you're steering with your mouse. Need the cursor for loot, a vendor or the map? It steps aside by itself and comes straight back when you're done.

✨ Features

🎮 Three ways to mouselook

• Toggle key: press to switch on, press again to switch off.
• Always on: mouselook all the time, freed automatically when you need the cursor.
• On in combat: switches on when a fight starts and off when it ends.
• Hold key: mouselook only while the key is held down.
• In Always and Combat modes, your toggle key pauses and resumes.

🧠 Smart auto-release

The cursor is freed automatically for:

• Loot windows and roll frames
• NPCs: gossip, quests, vendors, trainers, flight masters
• Mail, bank, trade, auction house and professions
• The map, character, spellbook, talents, quest log and other game windows
• Pop-ups, confirmations, ready checks and right-click menus
• Typing in chat
• Placing a ground-targeted spell
• Dragging an item or spell
• Being dead or a ghost
• Flight paths

Mouselook comes straight back when they close. Every category can be switched off, and bags are optional. Hold Alt (or Ctrl or Shift) to free the cursor for a moment without turning mouselook off.

🖱️ Mouse buttons

Choose what each button does while mouselooking: left, right, middle, both side buttons, and Shift/Ctrl/Alt with left or right.

• Movement: forward, back, strafe, jump, auto run
• Targeting: nearest enemy, last target, assist, clear target
• Interact, zoom, or any action bar slot
• Toggle mouselook, or do nothing

When the cursor is free, every click works as normal.

🎯 Crosshair

• Five styles: dot, cross, circle, chevron, brackets
• Colours by what you're facing: red for enemies, yellow for neutral, green for friends, grey for the dead, blue for herbs, ore and other objects
• Optional name under the crosshair
• Size, opacity, colour and height are all adjustable

⭕ Cursor ring

A ring around your mouse cursor, so you never lose it. Show it:

• when mouselook gives the cursor back (the default)
• while the cursor moves
• in combat
• always

It pulses when the cursor comes back so your eye goes straight to it. Thin, thick or glow styles, in any colour. Find my cursor (a key or /mlf find) sends ripples out from wherever it is.

⚙️ Clean options window

• Four tabs: General, Mouse buttons, Crosshair & cursor, Auto-release
• Set your keys right in the window: click, then press a key or mouse button
• Live preview of the crosshair and ring
• Mouse sensitivity, turn speed and invert, all in one place
• Minimap button: left-click for options, right-click to toggle mouselook. Also in the addon compartment.

• /mlf find: flash a ring around your cursor

Keys can also be set in the game's Key Bindings, under AddOns.
