MooMentum — A Plainsrunning Addon

MooMentum is a lightweight addon built specifically for Tauren who understand one simple truth:

A cow in motion should stay in motion.

MooMentum turns the Plainsrunning buff into a clean, customizable momentum meter, making it easy to see your current Plainsrunning percentage at a glance as you thunder across Azeroth.

Features

• 🐄 Live Plainsrunning meter — displays your current Plainsrunning percentage from 1–30%
• 🌈 Dynamic color progression — smoothly transitions from your chosen start color to end color as MooMentum builds
• 📢 Cow-themed milestone alerts at 10%, 20%, and 30%
• 🎨 Highly customizable appearance
  • Width and height
  • Status bar texture
  • Font, size, color, outline, and shadow
  • Background, border, and fill colors
  • Transparency
• 👀 Built-in preview mode for configuring your bar without needing to run around
• 🖱️ Freely movable and optionally lockable
• ⚙️ Simple configuration with /moomentum
• ⚔️ Combat-safe — MooMentum hides during combat to avoid restricted aura access and automatically resumes afterward
• 🪶 Lightweight — it does one thing, and does it with maximum cowocity

Milestones

As your MooMentum increases, you'll be appropriately informed of your escalating bovine velocity:

10% — HOOVING UP!!!
20% — BOVINE VELOCITY INCREASED!!
30% — ???

At full MooMentum, one of several appropriately ridiculous alerts will celebrate the occasion.

Commands

/moomentum — Open the configuration panel
/moomentum show — Show MooMentum
/moomentum hide — Hide MooMentum
/moomentum reset — Restore default settings

Why?

Because Blizzard gave Tauren Plainsrunning, and staring at a tiny buff icon while trying to determine your current percentage isn't nearly as fun as having a dedicated cow velocity meter.

FULL MOO AHEAD!!! 🐄💨
