Mint Community Tools is an addon for **WoW Forever** with three parts, each a tab of one window. Type `/mint` or click its minimap button to open it.

## Minimalist UI

The game's own interface in a flat, dark skin with thin borders and one accent colour (your class colour). Every piece is optional and all of it is **off until you turn it on**: open `/mint`, go to the **Settings** tab, switch on what you want, and `/reload`.

- **Action bars**: flat square buttons with the keybind in the corner, no bar art or gryphons. Pet and stance bars, bags, micro menu and a thin experience bar included.
- **Chat**: no frame art, plain text tabs, a flat edit box under the window, and an optional backdrop.
- **Unit frames**: player, target, target-of-target and pet frames with class-coloured health, both of a character's names, and portraits that can be flat, animated 3D, or off. You choose the font, text size, frame sizes, where buffs and debuffs sit, their icon sizes, and whether countdown numbers show.
- **Minimap**: square, with the zone's name and your coordinates above it and your local and server time below it. The mouse wheel zooms.
- **Quest tracker**: a plain list of your tracked quests and their objectives. Click a quest to open it in the quest log, shift-click to stop tracking it.
- **Game menu**: the Escape menu and the windows it opens (Options, AddOns, Edit Mode, Macros) drawn flat, down to their buttons, tabs, check boxes, sliders and scroll bars.
- **Edit mode**: `/mint edit` shows every frame as a box you can drag. Positions are saved.

## Loot tracker

A log of everything that drops: what you loot, what your group loots, and what is left on a corpse. Item names are in their quality colour, hovering shows the item's tooltip, and shift-clicking links it in chat. A small loot watcher window can stay open while you play.

## Gear export

Scans your equipped gear and talents and turns them into a text string you can copy. This part is built for the **Minty's Community Manager** guild website: members paste the string on the site's Roster page to add or update their character. The loot tracker can also export the items it has seen for that site's item database. Addons cannot reach the internet, so nothing is sent anywhere; you copy and paste it yourself.

If you are not part of that community, the minimalist UI and the loot tracker work fully on their own. The export strings are only useful with that website.

## Good to know

- **Made for WoW Forever.** It has not been tested on other versions of the game.
- **Saved settings on the beta client.** The beta writes addon data when you log out but does not read it back, for every addon. The addon's folder includes a one-time script that fixes this for Mint Community Tools (`link-saved-settings.sh` on macOS and Linux, `LinkSavedSettings.cmd` on Windows). Without it everything still works, but your settings start over each session.
- **Other addons' minimap buttons.** With the square minimap on, Rude Boy, Cat Facts and Rat Facts place their buttons on its edge automatically.

## Commands

- `/mint` opens the window
- `/mint ui on` or `/mint ui off` turns the minimalist UI on or off (then `/reload`)
- `/mint edit` moves the UI's pieces
- `/mint watch` shows or hides the loot watcher
- `/mint minimap` shows or hides the minimap button
- `/mint help` lists the rest
