Lotus Guild

Turn the guild roster of WoW: Forever into a real guild database.

Blizzard's guild roster shows name, class, level and rank, and that's it. Who can craft what? Which of these characters belongs to the same player? Who plays which spec? Lotus Guild answers these questions directly inside the guild window you already use. It adds to Blizzard's interface and does not replace it.

Features

More columns in the guild roster

• Professions with skill level: both primary professions plus the secondary ones, shown as icons
• Specialization (both talent loadouts)
• Item level: the average of the equipped gear, always the highest value ever seen for that character
• Race, Realm, and whether the member uses the addon
• Every column can be switched on or off, and the roster window adapts its width
• Sort by the new columns with a click on the header

Talent view with one click

Click a member's specialization icon and Blizzard's own talent window opens with their talents, for any class. No extra window, just the one you know. It works for members who use Lotus Guild and for members you have inspected before.

Filters

Narrow the roster down by class, rank, level, minimum item level, profession, realm, addon users, player, or main character. Filter and column options live in two buttons ("Filter" and "Columns") that match Blizzard's own menu style.

Guild-wide recipe search

"Who in the guild can make this?" Type a recipe name into the search box. Suggestions appear as you type, and the roster shows only the members who know the recipe. Click a profession icon to open that member's profession window.

Players and alts

Link characters to the player behind them and mark a main character. Alts show up in tooltips and in the right-click menu, and you can filter by player or main. No more guessing who is playing which character.

Discord link for everyone

The guild master enters the guild's Discord link once (button "Discord" next to the recipe search). All members who use Lotus Guild get it automatically and can copy it with Ctrl+C. Blizzard's guild info does not let you copy links.

Shared automatically

Guild members who use Lotus Guild exchange professions, skill levels, recipes, specs and item levels with each other in the background. The data is stored, so you still see the last known state of a member who is offline. Data from members without the addon appears when a profession window of theirs has been seen or when you inspect them with Blizzard's own Inspect: Lotus Guild then remembers their item level and talents, too.

Languages

English and German. The addon follows your game client's language.

Getting started

1. Install the addon and log in to WoW: Forever.
2. Open the guild window as usual. The new columns and the Filter / Columns buttons appear in the Roster tab.
3. The more of your guild runs the addon, the more complete the data gets.

Good to know

• Made for WoW: Forever only. It does not work in WoW Classic Era.
• No dependencies. The sync engine is built in, so there is nothing else to install.
• Safe with Blizzard's UI. Lotus Guild only attaches to the existing guild window via hooks and never overwrites Blizzard data or functions.
• Privacy: The addon shares your professions, skill levels, recipes, specialization, item level and a random player ID (used to link your alts) with your own guild only, over the addon channel that other players cannot see. There is currently no switch to turn sharing off.
• Members who don't use the addon only appear with the data the addon has actually observed.
• The recipe search knows only recipes that at least one member with known data has learned.
• Dual specialization reading is still unreliable.

• Reading professions and recipes of members who don't use the addon (carefully, throttled)
• The talent view for the second talent loadout, and role filters
• Native profession and recipe queries once the game client supports them (launch of WoW: Forever on November 4, 2026)
• More languages
• Long term: a connected view of your community — players, characters, progress and who plays with whom
