Kerzo's Classic Quest Log

A lightweight addon that replaces the modern quest log with a classic two-panel layout: quest list on the left, full details on the right — just like the old days, but built for Retail and Forever.

This addon is inspired by Classic Quest Log by gello3.

Features

World Quest Support (experimental)

• World Quest detail panel with objectives, rewards and map coordinates
• Filter world quests by expansion in settings
• Time-left indicator with red highlight when under 10 minutes
• World Quest icon in the quest list
• "Show Map" button works with World Quests

Alt Characters Quest Tracking

• Display which other characters on your account have already completed each quest
• Track which alts currently have the same quest in progress
• Optional italic styling for quests completed by an alt
• Hover details showing character names and classes

Turn-in Calculator & Ready Quests Summary

• Live turn-in badge displayed directly on the top quest counter showing quests ready to complete
• Comprehensive turn-in tooltip on mouseover displaying:
  • Total accumulated XP and exact percentage of current level
  • Total pending gold, silver, and copper
  • Quest-by-quest breakdown with individual rewards and levels

Quick Action Quest Item Button

• Attached external side-action tab anchored to the top-right corner of the window
• Use quest items directly from the log without hunting through bags
• Live cooldown indicator, item icon, and charge/stack counter
• Leaves parchment text completely unobstructed

Smart Zone Management

• Current Zone Focus: Automatically pins your current zone to the top of the quest log
• Auto-Collapse: Expands quests in your current zone and collapses distant zones upon changing areas
• Turn-in counter badge displayed right on the zone header

Best Vendor Value Reward Indicator

• Highlights the quest choice reward that sells for the most vendor gold with a distinct gold border and coin icon
• Works both in the quest log detail panel and in the native NPC turn-in dialog
• Displays vendor sell prices directly on quest reward item tooltips

• Split-panel interface: browsable quest list on the left, detailed quest info on the right
• Collapsible headers by zone/type with expand/collapse all
