Jebbie’s Voices

Jebbie's Voices plays short spoken lines when something good happens. A level up, a new flight path, new spells waiting at your trainer, rare loot, a new area, a profession skill up. She also says welcome back when you log in.

There are two voices right now. Jebbie, who is the voice from the Almanac, and an Expedition Guide, a cheerful British explorer. Each moment has four to twelve lines and it won't play the same one twice in a row.

I didn't want it to be chatty. Nothing plays in a fight, a level up waits until the fight is over, every moment has a cooldown, and there's a Chattiness slider from 0 to 100. At 0 you only hear the big stuff. Every event can be turned off by itself. /voices has all of it, and /voices test lets you hear a line.

If you use Jebbie's Satchel too, she'll talk you onto a herb or vein and on to the next stop of a farm loop. If you use the Almanac, it can hand quest and trainer moments to Voices. Without them nothing changes.

It only plays sounds. It never acts for you.

The voices are original voices made with ElevenLabs voice design. They are not clones or imitations of anyone. The code is GPL-2.0-or-later; the voice audio is CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 (see Packs/LICENSE.txt).
