Earlier today, my tank chewed me out in a dungeon run. When I'm playing a healer, my eyes are glued to party or unit frames. I often end up with total tunnel vision, and critical party chat gets lost in the bottom corner of my screen. I looked everywhere for an addon to solve this to no avail,

I spent the rest of the day building a solution. HealerHeadsUp puts critical communication right where I am actually looking, without cluttering my UI.

To be clear: this addon does not track combat meters, damage, or healing numbers. It is a dedicated, completely click-thru chat relay that floats incoming messages directly into your field of view and alerts you to urgent callouts.

Core Features

• Heads Up Chat Relay: Displays incoming messages anywhere on your screen so you never miss a pull call, mana alert, or strategy change.

• Smart Keywords: Automatically detects high priority emergency words like stop, no, wait, dispel, mana, oom, innervate, and class specific commands along with your own character name.

• Keyword Highlighting & Pulse: Triggered keywords glow in bright gold, accompanied by a subtle frame pulse, so keyword alerts register in your peripheral vision.

• Audio Alerts: Plays a distinct, clean audio cue when keywords trigger or when raid warnings go out, backed by a built in six second cooldown to prevent annoying audio spam. (toggle)

• Class Colored Senders: Names are color coded by class so you instantly know who is screaming at you  without having to look at your party frames.

• Combat Noise Filter: Automatically silences casual say and yell chatter while you are actively fighting, keeping your screen clear for encounter mechanics.

• Full Customization Panel: Type /hhu to open an in game control panel featuring real time sliders for font size, opacity, visible lines, and fade delays.

• Eight Typefaces: Includes a full spectrum of typography ranging from clean modern reading fonts to classic fantasy and dark occult styles.

• Quick Toggle Minimap Button: A smooth circular icon docks right onto your minimap to mute the relay or pull up options on the fly.

• Click Through & Resizable: Lock the frame for transparent click through during encounters, or unlock it to drag and resize with the corner grip handle.

• User Editable Keywords: All triage terms live in an open Keywords.lua file, making it easy to add your own slang, boss mechanics, or player nicknames with a basic text editor.

Built by a healer to solve healer tunnel vision, but completely configurable for any role or class in the game.
