Guildie
Recruiting, a shared guild armory, and officer tools in one addon. Players whisper you a phrase and Guildie sends the guild invite. New members get welcomed, and your whole guild shares an armory of everyone's gear, talents, professions and recipes.
Built for WoW: Forever.
Recruiting
- Whisper-to-invite: set a phrase like
ginvite. Anyone who whispers it gets a guild invite. - Exact or loose matching: require the exact phrase, or catch it anywhere in a whisper.
- One click for everyone waiting: Forever only lets an addon send guild invites and post in guild chat when you click. Guildie lists everyone who asked in one popup, and Invite all invites them with a single click (if the game only allows one invite per click, Guildie notices and goes one at a time without losing anyone). Bind a key with
/guildie bind Fand one keypress does it instead. - Custom welcome message: posted in guild chat when a new member joins. Use
{name}and{guild}. - Welcome kit: up to three private whispers for new recruits (rules, Discord link, raid times), sent with one click.
- No double welcomes: by default Guildie only welcomes players it invited, so several officers can run it at once.
- Reply whisper: optionally tell the player their invite is on the way.
- Spam protection: a per-player cooldown, reset automatically if an invite is declined or fails.
- Activity log: see every invite and the server's reply (delivered, declined, already in a guild, and so on).
- Check it works:
/guildie testwelcometells you whether your client lets addons post on their own or needs the click.
Guild Armory
Open it from the minimap button or /guildie armory. It has four tabs.
Roster
- Everyone's gear: every equipped item with its real tooltip. Shift-click to link it in chat.
- Talents: the talents each member has taken, plus their loadout string with a Copy button for the game's talent Import.
- Professions and gold: each member's professions and skill levels, and gold if they choose to share it.
- Sortable columns: click Name, Class, Level, iLvl, Gold or Seen to sort, and click again to reverse.
- Alts grouped under mains: Guildie finds your other characters and, if you say yes once, groups them under your main. Click "Also plays" to jump between them.
- Automatic sync: your character is shared when you log in and whenever your gear, talents or professions change. Offline members stay in the armory. Inspecting a guildmate also saves their gear and talents, even if they don't run Guildie.
- Gamer word counter: a swear jar beside the search bar counts profanity and slurs in guild chat while you're online. It keeps only a number: never the word, never who said it, and nothing is shared with anyone. Turn it off in settings.
Crafters
- Open a profession window once and Guildie remembers what you can craft and shares it. Search "flask" and see who can make it, who is online, and click to whisper them.
- This uses Forever's new profession API. If the tab stays empty,
/guildie recipes probeshows what the game reports.
Recruits
- Everyone who joined the guild: when, their level then and now, when they were last on, and whether they are active, quiet, inactive or gone. It also catches people who joined or left while you were offline.
- An inactive-members list (offline for N days), where you can ignore a bank alt.
- The welcome kit editor.
Loot
- Shift-click an item, or pick a recent drop, and see which guildmates would gain the most item level from it in that slot.
- Can be limited to your group or raid, and to people who can use it. That filter follows Classic class rules, so untick it if it hides someone it shouldn't.
Anniversaries
- Shouts out a member's guild anniversary in guild chat once they pass a full year, and shows who's coming up next and who was recently celebrated. It only knows the join date of members it saw join, so long-time members from before this version won't have one until they're freshly recorded.
Schedule
- Set your own time zone (
/guildie timezone -5 EST) and see everyone else's, sorted so it's easy to spot a raid time that works. Shows a rough "likely awake" guess (8am-11pm local) for each person. Nothing more precise than an offset and a label you type yourself is ever asked for or shared.
Privacy
You decide what your guild sees. In the Armory, click Privacy to choose whether to share your gear, talents, professions, gold and recipes, and whether to link your characters as alts. Gold is off unless you turn it on, and alt linking asks you once. Anything you hide is removed from guildmates' copies right away, and their Guildie won't collect it by inspecting you.
How to use
- Minimap button: left-click for the Guild Armory, right-click for settings, drag to move it.

Your guild rank needs permission to invite. The armory fills in fastest when your guildmates run Guildie too.
Notes
- Guild chat and sync messages wait until chat is unlocked (for example, after a boss encounter) and then send.
- Some Forever beta builds don't reload saved settings reliably. Guildie keeps a per-character backup. Finding your other characters for alt grouping relies on the settings the game shares between your characters, so it can only find characters that have logged in with this version.
- Recipe reading, alt grouping and loot help are new. Reports of what works and what doesn't are very welcome.
Bug reports and ideas welcome!
