Great Catch

Great Catch is a fishing HUD and living journal for World of Warcraft: Forever.

The panel only appears while a fishing pole is equipped. You cast and reel with the game — this addon does not fish for you.

The journal starts empty. Every fishing catch you land is written in: species, zone, hole, and catch percent from your history. Vanilla fish and Forever-only fish both count. Ore, herbs, and other junk are ignored.

HUD

• Shows only with a pole equipped. Drag to move.
• Effective fishing skill: profession rank plus hat, boots, gloves, pole line, and lure.
• Lure row is the actual item in your bags. Click an icon to put it on the pole. 
• Session casts, catches, fish/hr, and last catch.

Journal

• Zones — expandable list of waters you have fished. Open water mix, places, and holes. Your current zone opens by default. Expand / Collapse all.
• Holes — schools, wreckage, and swirls you have actually pulled from, with loot percents.
• Catches — species ledger and recent fishing loot.
• Here — the zone you are standing in right now.

Open/closed zone and hole rows are saved between sessions.

Commands

• /gc — status
• /gc journal — open or close the journal (or click JOURNAL on the HUD)
• /gc reset — reset this session's counters
