GatherScore

Tracks every ore vein and herb node you gather and turns it into a score with ranks. Compare with friends and guildmates, and see how much your farming is actually worth.

It's still alpha. If something breaks or you've got a feature idea, leave a comment and I'll look into it.

Tracking

Every ore and herb you loot gets counted, with single-node records, lifetime totals and session totals.

Only items that land in your bags right after a mining or herbalism cast count. Auction house buys and trades never get added, so your numbers stay honest.

Data is per character, so each alt keeps its own records.

Prices come from your own AH scans. No third-party data from resource intensive addons, no additional setup.

Yields come from your own gathering, so it reflects how much you actually get from farming.

Click any column header to sort. Gold/Node, Yield, Price, 12h Avg, and 7d Avg are all sortable. Click again to flip the direction. The bar under each row scales to whatever you're sorting by.

Hot Deal shows the item that gained the most since your last scan, with the old price, new price, and the % change. Click the item name to open its price history.

Click any item to open a detail panel on the right. It shows the price graph over time and averages for 14d, 7d, 3d, 1d, 12h, 6h, 3h, and 1h. Click a button to point the graph to that range, click it again to go back to live.

Filter by ALL, ORE, or HERB.

Items with no AH scan or 0 auctions posted are dimmed and listed last with a tooltip note, so live data is never mixed up with estimates.

Score & Ranks

You get two separate scores, OreScore and HerbScore, each from 0 to 3700.

Both are built from your lifetime totals and your best single-node records. Gathering a bit of everything beats farming one item forever.

Every item has a rarity weight, so rare finds move your score much more than common ones.

There are ten ranks per category. Once you pass 3700 the ranks stop, but a Prestige counter keeps climbing.

Leaderboards

Ore and Herb Highscores show the top 5 totals and top 5 records for every item, across all your Battle.net friends running the addon. There is a GatherScore leaderboard as well.

Guild Highscores do the same, but for your guild.

Click any item to open a panel with every ranked player for it, not just the top 5.

Tooltip Sharing

Hover over a player and their rank and score show up in their tooltip.

Scores travel over Bnet for friends, the guild channel for guildmates, and whispers for everyone else. Tooltips refresh on their own when the cached score gets old.

If someone tampers with their weights, their scores are rejected and never mixed into your boards.

Efficiency & Economy

The Overview panel shows both scores, session value, gold per hour, nodes per hour and session time in one place.

The Mini Bar is the main window shrunk into a small strip you can drag anywhere. It shows the same live stats.

Yield Overview shows lifetime value, session value and session rates for ore and herbs combined.

The Auction House scanner pulls live prices for every tracked item, and all the gold numbers use them. Until you run a scan, it falls back to built-in prices.

Themes

Pick between two looks:

• Modern: flat dark navy with cyan accents.
• Classic: gold and dark brown with vanilla-style borders.

One button in the header swaps them, and everything updates instantly.

Data Integrity

Your records and totals are checksummed when saved and verified when loaded. If something doesn't add up, the affected data is reset.

A separate snapshot check catches edits made to the saved file between sessions.

Commands

/gs opens the main window.

/gs reset resets all your data. It's there in case the window ever stops responding.
