Status: Beta — under active development. Bugs and incomplete translations are expected.

ForeverPL adds Polish translations to supported quests and NPC conversations in World of Warcraft Forever. It is a community localization project being developed and tested with the English-language game client.

Features

• Polish quest titles, descriptions, objectives and objective counters for entries included in the translation database.
• NPC greetings and quest progress/completion dialogue where translations are available.
• Quest translations in supported conversation, journal, map and tracker views, with a separate translation panel available as an alternative to native quest-window translation.
• Optional Polish names for places, enemies, items and factions. Each group has its own setting, so you can keep the original English names.
• Polish wording adapted to the player character's gender, with optional character-name declension.
• Optional creature model previews for supported objectives and loot sources.
• Optional collection of encountered quest and NPC texts to help expand the translation database.

Getting started

Enable ForeverPL in the AddOns menu and type /fpl in chat to open its settings. Choose your preferred name options and display features. After changing settings, close and reopen the quest or conversation window to refresh the text.

Coverage and compatibility

This is a work in progress, not a complete Polish translation of the game. Coverage includes quests from Zephras Isle, Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor, but varies by quest and text field. Some quests still lack progress or completion dialogue. Texts without a matching translation remain in English.

This project targets World of Warcraft Forever. Compatibility with other WoW editions has not been verified. Beta updates may change quest texts or interface behavior.

Feedback

When reporting a translation issue, include the quest name and ID if available, the NPC name, the English text or a screenshot, and the addon version. For interface errors, include the error message and what you were doing when it appeared.

License and use

ForeverPL is free to download, install and use. All Rights Reserved applies to the project's original code and materials. This permission does not grant a general right to redistribute the addon or publish modified versions. Third-party materials remain subject to their own rights and licenses.

• Polskie tytuły, opisy, cele i liczniki zadań znajdujących się w bazie tłumaczeń.
• Powitania NPC oraz dialogi postępu i zakończenia tam, gdzie dostępne są tłumaczenia.
• Tłumaczenia w obsługiwanych oknach rozmów, dziennika, mapy i śledzenia zadań. Dostępny jest też osobny panel tłumaczenia jako alternatywa dla tłumaczenia w oknie zadania.
• Osobne przełączniki polskich nazw miejsc, przeciwników, przedmiotów i frakcji. Możesz zachować nazwy angielskie.
• Formy dopasowane do płci postaci gracza oraz opcjonalna odmiana jej imienia.
• Opcjonalne podglądy modeli stworzeń dla obsługiwanych celów i źródeł łupów.
• Opcjonalne zbieranie napotkanych tekstów zadań i rozmów, pomocne w rozwijaniu bazy.

Jak zacząć

Włącz ForeverPL na liście dodatków i wpisz /fpl na czacie, aby otworzyć ustawienia. Wybierz nazwy i funkcje wyświetlania. Po zmianie ustawień zamknij i ponownie otwórz okno zadania lub rozmowy.

Zakres i zgodność

Projekt jest rozwijany i nie stanowi pełnego spolszczenia gry. Baza obejmuje zadania z Zephras Isle, Eastern Kingdoms i Kalimdoru, ale zakres tłumaczenia zależy od zadania i pola tekstowego. Część zadań nie ma jeszcze przetłumaczonych dialogów postępu lub zakończenia. Teksty bez dopasowanego tłumaczenia pozostają po angielsku.

Dodatek jest przeznaczony dla World of Warcraft Forever. Zgodność z innymi wydaniami WoW nie została potwierdzona. Aktualizacje bety mogą zmieniać treści zadań i działanie interfejsu.

Zgłaszanie uwag

Podaj nazwę i, jeśli znasz, ID zadania, nazwę NPC, angielski tekst lub zrzut ekranu oraz wersję addonu. Przy błędzie interfejsu dołącz komunikat błędu i opisz czynność, podczas której wystąpił.

ForeverPL można bezpłatnie pobierać, instalować i używać. Zastrzeżenie All Rights Reserved dotyczy własnego kodu i materiałów projektu. Ta zgoda nie obejmuje ogólnego prawa do dalszego rozpowszechniania addonu ani publikowania jego zmodyfikowanych wersji. Cudze materiały zachowują odrębne prawa i licencje.
