Forever Library brings all 40 unique books into a searchable journal, helping you see what you’ve collected, what you’re carrying, and where to go next.

Features

• Character progress: Automatically records looted books and checks completed turn-in quests to restore previous donations.
• Searchable journal: Browse Missing, Carried, Tracked, Suggested, or All books, with coordinates and detailed location notes.
• World map pins: Click a book pin to navigate using Blizzard’s native waypoint system where supported.
• Difficulty colors: Green, yellow, and red borders estimate pickup difficulty based on your faction, level, and location.
• Suggested pickups: Highlights easier books and lower-level options to help you get started.
• Compact tracker: Track several books and click them to open their locations.
• Librarian & rewards: Automatically selects your faction’s librarian and previews the necklace choices at 10 turn-ins and ring choices at 20 total turn-ins.
• Classic and dark themes: Blizzard-style frames, a textured background, and slim scrollbars.
• Minimap button: Supports LibDataBroker displays and minimap button collectors.

Getting started

• /books — Open the journal.
• /books tracker — Toggle the compact tracker.
• /books minimap — Show or hide the minimap button.

Left-click the minimap button to open the journal; right-click to toggle the tracker. Shift-click a journal row to track or untrack a book.

Progress and location notes

Books are distinguished as Missing, Carried, Looted, Returned, or manually Marked. Manual marks never count as confirmed turn-ins.

Earlier donations can be restored through completed quest flags. Books destroyed before installing the addon may need a manual mark. Unconfirmed Forever locations are clearly labeled, and difficulty ratings are estimates—travel and nearby enemies can still make a pickup challenging.
