# Forever Guide — your in-game Wowhead for WoW: Forever

**Everything you'd look up while leveling, in one game window:** dungeon quests and chains, boss loot and abilities, where any item drops and how often, the best gear for your class and level, all class quests, rare alerts with respawn timers, layer switching through other users, every Forever recipe with auction profit, and library books. **All 10 game languages.**

## 🆕 What's new

- **🌐 Layers (1.24):** see which layer you're on and switch to another one through other Forever Guide users — one click, with checks and timeouts.

## 🏰 Dungeons and bosses
- All **35 dungeons**, including the **9 new Forever dungeons**: Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, Excavation Site: Wetlands, City of Dalaran, The Drowned City, Krol'dok Stronghold, Alcaz Prison, Blackmaw Hold, Shaper's Terrace.
- Which quests to take before you go: status (ready, in log, needs a prerequisite, done), the full chain from the first quest, who gives it and where, rewards.
- **Boss cards:** 3D model, abilities and loot with drop chances. Trash loot too.
- Quest givers and dungeon entrances on the world map; one click sets a waypoint.

## 🔍 Items
- **22,000+ items.** Type a name (any language) or Shift-click an item from your bags or chat.
- Every source with its drop chance: bosses, mobs, quests, crafting, vendors, chests — sorted for farming.
- **Catalog like Wowhead:** weapons, armor by type and slot, consumables, trade goods, recipes, quest items. Filters by item level, required level, rarity, source, "up to my level". ⭐ Favorites.
- What **you** looted yourself is remembered and shown, even when no database has it yet.

## 🛡️ Gear
- The best items for **every slot** you can use now, at +3 or +5 levels, or at 60.
- Stat values per role from the **WoWSims Forever** simulator; only armor and weapons your class can wear (mail/plate at 40).
- Compared with what you wear ("12% better") and **where to get it**: boss and dungeon, quest, crafting, vendor. The role follows your talents.

## 📜 Classes
- **~800 class quests** of all 9 classes, grouped into chains by level.
- Who gives each quest and where, what to do, **rewards**: items, a choice of items, money, a new ability.
- Your progress: done, in log, available now, unlocks at level N. Map button for every quest giver.
- Class trainers of your faction on the map; roles, armor, weapons and key stats per role. You can view any class.

## 💀 Rares
- **404 rares**, including 28 new to Forever (Zephras Isle, starting zones, Dro'zem, Nightveiled Rotheap, Baron Marinous…).
- When a rare is your target, under the mouse or on a nameplate: **big alert with sound**, name, level, coordinates, time and a **Waypoint /way** button.
- **Respawn estimate** after a kill, loot with drop chances, all spawn points, abilities, "tameable" / "night only" / "summoned" notes.
- Filters by level and zone, sighting log per realm, and new rares you meet are remembered automatically.

## 🌐 Layers
- **Your layer** is read from the creatures around you; the list shows the zone's layers and how many hosts are on each.
- **Change layer** (any other layer) or **Go there** (a chosen one): a Forever Guide user already on that layer invites you, **you click Accept**, and the addon checks the layer really changed.
- Want to help? Tick **"Help others (be a host)"** — off by default. Hosts only invite out of combat and dungeons, when there's room and they lead the group.
- Rare seen by another user on another layer of your zone? You get an alert with a **"Go to Layer N"** button.
- Honest limits: it works within your current zone, needs other users online, and the addon never leaves the group for you (Forever may send you back).

## ⚒️ Professions
- All **12 professions, 2,495 recipes** (959 new to Forever), with reagents you have and need, skill-up colors and where to learn.
- Reagent cost, sale price and **profit** after the 5% auction cut.

## 💰 Auction and profit
- One scan remembers the lowest prices per realm and faction auction house.
- Prices in item tooltips, item cards and recipes, compared with the usual price; the most profitable recipes of all your professions.

## 📚 Library books
- Library books on the world map and minimap, progress toward the neck and ring rewards, waypoint to the nearest book.

## 🏷️ Tooltips
- Item tooltips show where the item comes from and its auction price. Show them always, only with Shift / Ctrl / Alt, or turn either line off.

## 🎮 Gamepad UI
- With Forever's built-in gamepad interface the addon automatically stops touching game windows (world map, popups, text focus), which is what causes "action blocked" errors there. Override: `/fguide gamepad on | off | auto`.

- **Когда появится снова** после убийства, добыча с шансами, все точки появления, способности, пометки «приручается», «ночью», «призывается». Журнал встреч.

## 🌐 Слои
- **Твой слой** определяется по существам вокруг; в списке — слои зоны и сколько на каждом хостов.
- **«Сменить слой»** или **«Перейти»**: пользователь Путеводителя на нужном слое приглашает тебя, **ты нажимаешь «Принять»**, аддон проверяет, что слой сменился.
- Хочешь помогать — галочка **«Помогать другим (быть хостом)»**, по умолчанию выключена.
- Рарника на другом слое твоей зоны увидел другой пользователь — придёт оповещение с кнопкой **«Перейти: Слой N»**.
- Честно об ограничениях: работает внутри твоей зоны, нужны другие пользователи онлайн, из группы аддон сам не выходит (Forever может вернуть).
