Forever Clean Chat

# Forever Clean Chat
**Less spam. More conversation.**

Forever Clean Chat is a chat-filtering addon for World of Warcraft: Forever. It helps hide gold-selling, boosting and real-money trading advertisements, keeping chat focused on players rather than promotions.

## Features

- **Advertising detection:** Filters known advertising websites and common sales patterns.
- **Disguised text recognition:** Recognises many variations involving extra spaces, symbols and altered spellings.
- **Context-aware filtering:** Designed to preserve normal conversation, item trading and group-finding messages rather than blocking words like “gold” or “WTS” on their own.
- **Adjustable filtering:** Choose balanced filtering or stricter detection for boost and carry advertisements.

Forever Clean Chat is a standalone addon. Forever Mini Reminder is not required.

## Help keep chat clean

This project grows with its community. You do not need to write code to contribute.

**An advertisement slipped through? A normal message was hidden?** Leave a comment with the message text, your addon version and your filter mode. Remove character names and personal information before sharing.

Examples from different languages, suggestions and testing feedback are welcome. Developers can also contribute through the project repository:

## Good to know

No filter is perfect. New advertising patterns may slip through, and false positives can happen. Community feedback helps improve detection while protecting normal chat.

The addon hides matching messages locally; it does not stop their senders from posting.
