Class Live Stats

Class Live Stats is a compact, dynamic combat-information panel designed specifically for WoW Forever.

Instead of filling your screen with information that does not apply to your character, Class Live Stats automatically analyzes your class, specialization, talents, action bars, equipment, spells and active pet and builds a streamlined statistics table containing only information relevant to the character you are currently playing.

The addon is designed to update automatically as your character changes. Equip new gear, learn a new spell, upgrade an existing spell, change talents, switch specialization, move abilities onto your action bars, summon a pet, or change other relevant character statistics and the panel dynamically rebuilds itself.

Dynamic Class & Specialization Support

Class Live Stats is designed as a universal addon rather than an addon for one specific class.

The panel automatically identifies your character and specialization and displays this information in the title.

Your official class symbol and class color are incorporated directly into the interface.

Damage & Healing Spells Only

The spell list is intentionally kept clean.

Class Live Stats only lists abilities that actually perform damage or health healing, along with applicable pet information.

It does not intentionally populate the table with ordinary buffs, debuffs, auras, forms, stances, crowd-control abilities, dispels, utility abilities, threat-only abilities, resource-management abilities or similar non-damage/non-healing spells.

This means abilities such as Amplify Magic do not clutter the table simply because their tooltip happens to mention damage or healing.

Damage-over-time and heal-over-time abilities remain eligible because those spells actually cause damage or healing.

Role-Aware Statistics

The addon adapts its information according to what your character actually needs.

Damage characters can display:

• Spell
• Cast Time
• Critical Chance
• Damage
• Critical Damage
• Total periodic damage when identifiable
• Cooldown
• Charges
• Resource Cost

Healers can display:

• Healing Spell
• Cast Time
• Critical Chance
• Healing
• Critical Healing
• Total periodic healing when identifiable
• Cooldown
• Charges
• Resource Cost

Tanks can additionally display:

• Threat percentage when WoW exposes a usable threat value for the current target

The addon does not invent combat statistics when the WoW client does not provide enough usable information.

Fully Dynamic Table

There are no permanently wasted columns.

If your character has no meaningful value for a particular statistic, that entire column—including its header—is removed.

The remaining columns automatically move together and the window contracts to eliminate unnecessary black space.

If that information later becomes relevant, the column automatically returns.

For example, a character whose displayed abilities are all instant casts does not need a large empty CAST column. Class Live Stats removes it and readjusts the entire table.

This behavior applies across classes, specializations and roles.

Live Character Updates

Class Live Stats continually watches for relevant character changes, including:

• New spells
• Spell upgrades
• Talent changes
• Specialization changes
• Equipment changes
• Action-bar changes
• Critical-stat changes
• Cooldown changes
• Charge changes
• Resource-cost changes
• Pet changes
• Target changes relevant to threat

The goal is for the panel to represent your current character, rather than requiring you to manually configure a static list of abilities.

Action-Bar Driven

Class Live Stats uses the abilities you have actually placed on your action bars to determine which relevant combat spells should be displayed.

This keeps the panel focused on abilities you are actively using instead of dumping an entire spellbook onto the screen.

Pet Support

Classes with active combat pets can receive a dedicated Pet row at the bottom of the table.

The pet section is dynamically displayed when an applicable active pet exists and removed when it does not.

Pet information uses values exposed by the WoW client rather than permanently hard-coded statistics.

Live Value Highlighting

The addon makes temporary statistical changes easy to see.

Normal baseline values are displayed in yellow.

When a tracked value changes from its baseline, the value changes to white.

When the statistic returns to its original baseline, it returns to yellow.

This makes it much easier to visually recognize the effect of gear, talents, procs and other character changes.

Proc Indicator

Class Live Stats includes visual proc feedback for supported important class procs.

When a recognized proc activates, the class-colored border rapidly flashes between the character's class color and yellow.

The effect is intentionally visible without permanently adding another large section to the interface.

Compact Professional Interface

The interface was designed to occupy as little screen space as practical.

Numerical columns are tightly spaced and automatically justified. Column widths, headers and rows are kept aligned as the table dynamically changes.

The addon uses:

• Black background
• Class-colored border
• Class-colored character/spell text
• Official class symbol
• Yellow baseline statistics
• White changed statistics
• Automatically generated columns
• Automatically adjusted window width and height

Scalable Interface

The entire panel can be resized proportionally.

Scaling affects the complete interface, including text, icons, spacing, borders and the table itself. Text therefore remains attached to the interface instead of independently growing outside the panel and overlapping other information.

Once you have the addon positioned and scaled exactly where you want it, use the lock control in the upper-right corner.

U = Unlocked
L = Locked

Locking the addon prevents accidental movement or resizing.

Position, scale and lock state are saved.

WoW Forever Compatibility

Class Live Stats is being developed specifically around the WoW Forever Beta addon environment.

Modern WoW clients can protect certain combat information from addon access. Class Live Stats is designed to handle unavailable or protected values safely rather than performing unsafe calculations or deliberately displaying fabricated statistics.

When reliable information is available from the game client, the addon displays it. When a value cannot safely or accurately be obtained, the addon is designed to omit that information rather than knowingly present a false number.

Design Philosophy

The objective of Class Live Stats is simple:

Show the combat information that matters to the character you are currently playing—and remove everything else.

No giant configuration process.
No permanent empty columns.
No irrelevant racial abilities.
No screen full of buffs and utility spells.
No static spell list that becomes obsolete when your character changes.

The addon is intended to evolve alongside your character automatically.
