Forever Bag Mover

Arrange your bags your way while keeping Blizzard’s inventory interface.

Forever Bag Mover lets you reposition each bag individually or move your combined-bag window, with saved positions per character.

Features

• Individual bag movement: Place each bag wherever you prefer.
• Simple padlock control: Unlock movement from the backpack header, then click again to save and lock.
• Snap and alignment guides: Align bags with neighboring bags and screen edges. Hold Alt to bypass snapping.
• One-click layouts: Preview a row, column, or grid with adjustable spacing.
• Group movement: Move all open bags together while preserving their spacing.
• Saved presets: Save named layouts and reuse them across characters.
• Copy layouts: Preview another character’s saved arrangement on your current character.
• Undo and reset: Cancel layout changes or preview Blizzard’s default positions.
• Combat positioning: Bags retain their saved positions during combat. Dragging and layout editing remain disabled.

How to use

1. Open your backpack and click the padlock beside the close button.
2. Drag the highlighted bag headers or use the Arrange panel’s layout tools.
3. Click Done or the padlock to save. Click Cancel to restore your previous layout.

Presets and character sharing

Enter a preset name and click Save preset. Click the preset selector to cycle through saved names, then choose Load preset. Saving under an existing name replaces that preset.

To copy an alt’s layout, select the character and click Copy layout. The source character must first load this addon version and log out or reload. Layout sharing works within the same WoW account and client installation.

Loaded layouts are previews until you save them. Different bag sizes or screen settings may require minor adjustments.

Commands

• /fbm — Open Arrange mode
• /fbm done — Save and lock
• /fbm cancel — Discard layout changes
• /fbm reset — Preview the default layout

Supports separate bags and combined bags, with distinct saved positions for each mode.
