Examiner (SuperInspect)

Just like sAks, I'm a fan of the original addon by Aezay (Examiner; SuperInspect by Chester). The original version no longer functions, and sAks' version has not been updated since June 2025, so I have extensively modified and extended it. This is the actively maintained continuation of that line.

One addon, every version of the game

Classic Era, Season of Discovery, TBC Anniversary, MoP Classic, and WoW Forever - from a single download.

Description
With Examiner, you can check other players' gear, talents, honor and arena team details.

When you inspect someone, it will show a stat summary of all their equipped gear combined. Please note that these values are from gear alone, and will not include bonuses from buffs, talents or normal base stats.

Each player you inspect can be cached, that way you can look them up later, even when they are not around. The option to cache others is disabled by default, you will have to enable caching on the "Config" page.

You can bind a key to inspect your target, and you can bind a key to inspect whoever is under your mouse without having to target anyone (stealth inspection). To set this up, open the Key Bindings dialog and look under "Examiner".

Examiner does not use that much memory by itself, but once you start caching a lot of people, memory usage can grow quite quickly.

Version Support

The same download works on every supported version. Examiner detects what the client can do and adapts.

Known limitations. On Forever, visual talent trees are not yet implemented; the inspected player's talent loadout string is shown instead, which can be pasted into a talent calculator. Enchant bonuses are not currently included in Forever stat totals. Talent display is unavailable on MoP Classic. Arena team details are TBC only.
