DFL Profession Journal
Level any profession from 1 to 300 in WoW Forever, know where to farm, and see which crafts make gold at the auction house. One book. Open it with /pj or the minimap icon.
From the maker of DFL Dungeon Journal, the free dungeon and raid book for WoW Forever: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/dfl-dungeon-journal
What you get
- A real leveling guide for every profession. Your next craft, how many to make, and the skill it gets you to. Every step does the math: what each craft takes, what you already have in your bags and bank, what you are short, and where to get it.
- Farming. Click a material and you land on its farm page: the best spot for your level and faction, the mobs that drop it, the drop rate per 100 kills, and a map. Follow route marks every stop on your world map and moves the waypoint to the next stop as you reach each one.
- Shopping list. Add a guide step or any recipe. It groups everything by what you are making and tells you per item: craft it, take it out of the bank, buy it from a vendor, or buy it on the auction house, with the total cost.
- Nearest vendor. Thread, dyes, vials and other vendor items are never an auction buy. You get the nearest vendor for your faction with a portrait, a map and a waypoint.
- Recipes. Every recipe for the profession, learned or not, with its reagents and how to learn it: the trainer, the mob that drops it with the drop rate, or the vendor (including reputation) on a map.
- Inside your profession window. A bar above the window shows your next craft and follows whichever profession is open. The recipe the guide wants is marked in the list, and every recipe gets a block with what it sells for, what the mats cost, and your profit or loss after the 5% auction cut.
- Inside the auction house. A Profession tab with three pages:
- Shopping list: Scan prices checks every item on your list and every recipe you know. Search, Review and Buy now on each line. Every purchase is your own click.
- Profitable crafts: sale price against what the mats cost right now, after the cut, with the age of every price. Tick Skill-ups only to level and earn at the same time.
- Recipes for sale: patterns you can still learn and what they cost. Vendor patterns get Pin vendor because the vendor is cheaper.

Beta, and I need your help
This is a beta. I play it and test it in game every day, but there are a lot of professions, routes and prices to get right. If a route, a pin, a recipe source or a price looks wrong, leave a comment with the profession, the item and what you clicked. I read every comment, fix it fast, and ship an update.
Prices are a snapshot of what was listed when you scanned. Listings change, so check the live price before you buy or craft.
If you install by hand, the folder is DFLJourneymansJournal (the in-game name is Profession Journal). Do not rename it. The CurseForge app does this for you.
