The guild addon for Decades, a World of Warcraft guild since 2005, built for World of Warcraft: Forever.
Decades GuildOps turns the guild into something you can see and use from inside the game. You get an online roster with one-click invites, shared notes on players, PvP rivalries, officer announcements with big on-screen alerts, raid auto-invites and group sorting from the guild's raid schedule, a guild crafting directory, leaderboards, chat history and live "where is everyone" lookups. It also records your characters' progress for the Decades guild app, so your profile, the raid planner and guild accolades stay up to date without anyone typing anything in.
It's made for Decades members. Most social features work between guildmates who all run the addon.
Hover the gold hourglass on your minimap and the guild roster pops out:
- everyone online, with class-coloured names, level, zone, rank and notes;
- the message of the day, and how many guildmates are online and running GuildOps;
- your next raid.
Alt-click a name to invite them. Click to whisper. Right-click for the player menu. Sort by any column.
- Make it yours. Pick which columns show and their order, the scale, font size and opacity, and whether the roster sticks to the minimap button or becomes a panel you drag anywhere and pin open.
- Remind people to install. Guildmates without GuildOps show a dimmed icon. Click it to whisper them a friendly reminder, at most once a week.
- Right-click the minimap button for shortcuts: chat history, announcements, roster, your next raid, find a guildmate, find a crafter and settings.
If you're slotted into a raid on the Decades raid planner, GuildOps tells you:
YOUR NEXT RAID · DUNE · TUESDAY @ 9:00 PM
It shows your character, group and role, the raid lead and a countdown, in your own time zone. It appears in the roster, on the addon's Home page, and as a reminder when you log in on raid day.
- Auto-invite. When a raider assigned to your raid logs in near raid time, they're invited automatically. The raid lead turns it on or off per raid, and nobody is ever auto-accepted.
- Arrange groups as planned. One button moves everyone into the groups and positions set on the Decades raid planner.
- Cooperative combat logging. Advanced combat logging turns on when you enter a raid and off when you leave. It never fights DBM, BigWigs, Details! or your own
/combatlog, and you can pause it on your PC.
Council and officers send guild-wide announcements from the Announcements tab or /announce. Everyone running GuildOps sees one of four Decades flare styles across their screen: Dust settle, Hourglass flip, Golden raid warning or Sandstorm sweep, with a sound. You can reduce motion or lower the volume, and every announcement is kept in a history you can replay.
- Player notes. Leave a note on anyone, friend or foe ("Friendly", "Heads-up", "Avoid", "Kill on sight"…), and every guildmate with GuildOps sees it on that player's tooltip. Council and officers can edit or remove notes.
- PvP rivalries. Hover an enemy player to see how many times Decades has killed them and died to them, and your own tally. There's a leaderboard of the guild's biggest rivalries, and an optional kill toast you can post to a channel.
Look up a guildmate to see where they are right now, and where they usually play and when. Show on my map puts a waypoint on your world map and minimap that follows them, for up to 30 minutes. Only guildmates who share their location can be found, and never inside instances.
Search any item to see which guildmates can craft it, online first, with the reagents. Whisper a request in one click. Item tooltips show "Craftable by 3 guildmates".
- Anniversaries. In the month you joined Decades, you're greeted with a celebration: the hourglass turns, gold sand falls and "N YEARS WITH DECADES" fills the screen. Your guildmates see it too. Try it with
/dgo anniversary test 20. - Leaderboards. Most PvP kills, top guild-bank donors, most time played, most levels this week, and dungeons run together. You can opt out.
- Chat history. Every channel you choose (guild, officer, party, raid, whispers, trade, loot and more) is saved on your PC, up to the number of lines and size you pick. Search it and copy from it in the Chat history tab.
- Roster history. A timeline for each member of joins, departures, promotions, level milestones and note changes, and an alert when someone on the watch list joins.
- Inactivity report. Members who haven't logged in for N days, grouped with their alts, with promote, demote or remove behind a confirmation.
- Main and alt links. Every alt shows "Alt of X" in the roster and tooltips.
GuildOps records what your own game client already shows you, so the Decades guild app can show it on your profile and use it for raid planning and accolades. It saves locally, in the addon's saved-variables file.
What it records:
- your characters' gear, bags, bank, mail and money;
- reputations, professions and recipes;
- where you logged out and your hearthstone;
- raid lockouts and attunements;
- play sessions and level-ups;
- loot, boss pulls and raid readiness (scheduled Decades raids only);
- PvP kills and deaths;
- the guild roster and guild bank logs.
A What we collect panel inside the addon lists every item, when it's read, and where it goes. Your chat history stays on your PC in its own file and is never uploaded. Nothing is sent anywhere by the addon itself: the separate Decades desktop app uploads it for members who install it.
