Bottom-Up Objective Tracker
Keep Blizzard's default Objective Tracker anchored to the bottom so tracked objectives grow upward.
Why?
Blizzard's Objective Tracker is designed around a top anchor and grows downward.
That works well in many layouts, but it is awkward if you prefer your tracker near the bottom of the screen, particularly on large displays, ultrawides, or highly customized UI layouts.
Bottom-Up Objective Tracker allows that placement without replacing the Blizzard UI.
Features
- Bottom-anchors Blizzard's stock Objective Tracker
- Objectives dynamically grow upward as more are tracked
- Preserves Blizzard's original appearance and sorting
- Works directly with the normal Objective Tracker Edit Mode placement
- Live bottom-clamped preview while positioning the tracker in Edit Mode
- Toggle Bottom Clamp directly from the Objective Tracker Edit Mode settings
- Adjustable padding for expanded and collapsed tracker states
- Automatically recovers if Blizzard resets the Objective Tracker position
- Avoids modifying Blizzard's protected tracker update logic during combat
Configuration
Open Blizzard's Edit Mode and select the Objective Tracker.
Additional options are added directly to its normal settings panel:
Bottom Clamp
Enables or disables bottom anchoring.
Expanded Padding
Adds optional space below the tracker while objectives are visible.
Collapsed Padding
Adds optional space below the tracker while the Objective Tracker is collapsed.
Both padding values default to 0.
Slash Commands
/buot — show available commands
/buot on — enable bottom clamping
/buot off — disable bottom clamping
/buot toggle — toggle bottom clamping
/buot padding <value> — change expanded padding
/buot capture — capture the Objective Tracker's current position as its intended position
The legacy /rqt command is also supported.
Compatibility
Designed for WoW: Forever and Blizzard's native Objective Tracker/Edit Mode implementation.
The addon intentionally makes the smallest practical modification to the stock interface in order to preserve Blizzard's normal tracker behavior.
