Azeroth Travel Metrics
Ever wonder how far your character has actually walked, swum, or flown while saving Azeroth? Azeroth Travel Metrics - ATM for short - keeps the receipts.
Built for World of Warcraft: Forever, ATM tracks meaningful travel without giving portals, teleports, vehicles, or suspicious movement a free ride. Open the pocket watch, check your mileage, and discover just how much cardio your latest adventure required.
WHAT IT TRACKS
- Estimated on-foot steps, scaled by your character's race
- On-foot distance
- Swimming distance
- Flight-path distance
- Lifetime totals
- Current-session totals
- Per-level history
Ground-based Druid forms such as Cat Form and Bear Form count as on-foot travel. Aquatic Form counts as swimming. Mounted travel, flying forms, vehicles, teleports, portals, and unsupported transitions are intentionally excluded so your totals stay useful instead of wildly optimistic.

GOOD TO KNOW
ATM stores distance internally in yards and changes only the display when you switch units. Step totals are estimates based on on-foot distance and character race. Swimming and flight paths do not generate steps.
The addon rejects zoning jumps, hearths, portals, teleports, long sampling gaps, impossible speeds, and unsupported movement states rather than inventing distance. In other words: ATM would rather miss a dubious yard than finance fraudulent mileage.
COMPATIBILITY
Designed for World of Warcraft: Forever 1.60.1 using Interface 16001.
MADE WITH A LITTLE HELP
Azeroth Travel Metrics was created with AI-assisted development from GitHub Copilot. The ideas, decisions, testing, and final approval remained human; AI helped with implementation, debugging, validation, and the occasional reminder that even virtual walking deserves accurate accounting.
Now get out there. Azeroth is not going to measure itself.
