Tired of opening World of Warcraft chat and discovering that somehow
every conversation has become about Asmongold?

AsmonGone is a lightweight chat-filtering addon that automatically hides
public chat messages containing Asmongold, OLYMPUS, and other keywords
you don’t want to see.

Other players can keep talking about it. You just don’t have to read it.

Commands

Use /ag or /asmongone.

/ag add <keyword> — Add a keyword or phrase to the blacklist

/ag remove <keyword> — Remove a keyword or phrase

/ag list — Display your current blacklist

/ag test <message> — Check whether a message would be filtered

/ag stats — Show how many messages have been filtered

/ag on — Enable AsmonGone

/ag off — Disable AsmonGone

/ag defaults — Restore the built-in default filters

/ag help — Display command help

How It Works

Matching is case-insensitive, so asmon, Asmon, ASMON, and similar
capitalization are treated the same.

AsmonGone can also filter longer phrases. Your custom blacklist and
addon settings are stored using WoW’s SavedVariables system and persist
between sessions.

The default blacklist is intentionally kept relatively small to avoid
unnecessarily filtering unrelated conversations. You can expand it with
/ag add.
