Having issues?
Over the years, Blizzard has added in very handy graphics to alert you to various class-based procs and effects, such as:
- Stormbringer (Enhancement Shaman)
- Heating Up/Pyroblast (Fire Mage)
- Shadowy Insight (Shadow Priest)
- And many more!
Unfortunately, there's only an account-wide CVar to control whether or not these show up: displaySpellActivationOverlays.
I got very tired of manually toggling this on and off based on whether or not I wanted to see those alerts on a given spec, so I made a quick little addon that allows you to turn these alerts on or off on a per-spec basis.
Just open up Options -> Addons -> SpellAlertToggle and check the boxes of the specs where you do want to see the alerts, and leave the boxes unchecked for the ones you don't want to see.
If there are any features or additions you'd like to see, please let me know. I'm aiming to keep this very simple, but would be happy to consider some additions.
