WoWGPT Collector

Collects data for the private chat assistant WoWGPT while you play WoW Forever as usual: loot and drop rates, vendors, quests, NPCs and where to find them, items, fishing and gathering spots, professions and recipes, trainers, talents and spells, dungeons, factions and reputation gains.

Want to take part? WoWGPT is a private project for a small group of players. The addon is only useful if you are part of it. If you would like to join, send an e-mail to wowgpt.bot@gmail.com.

How it works

1. Install the addon and play as usual. It collects in the background.
2. Type /wowgpt export in the game. A window with a long text opens.
3. Press Ctrl+C to copy the text.
4. Paste it in Discord with Ctrl+V – either in a direct message to the WoWGPT bot or in the #wow-gpt channel – and send it.

That is all. The bot confirms the upload and shows your points for new discoveries.

What the addon does (and does not do)

• It saves observations locally only, in your SavedVariables.
• It sends nothing over the internet. Your data leaves your computer only when you paste the export text into Discord yourself.
• It writes no chat messages. The only thing it shares in game is its own version number, invisibly, with your group and guild, so it can tell you when a newer version is available.
• No effect on combat or the interface. Errors are caught (/wowgpt fehler shows them).
• Exported data is removed automatically after 14 days.
• The addon's windows and messages are in German.
