Trainer Locator

Trainer Locator shows you where every trainer in World of Warcraft: Forever is, and walks you to the nearest one. No more alt-tabbing to a website or wandering a capital city looking for the right trainer.

What it does

• Every kind of trainer in one list. Pick a kind from the menu: any of the nine classes, weapon masters, the nine professions (Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Herbalism, Leatherworking, Mining, Skinning, Tailoring), the secondary skills (Cooking, First Aid, Fishing), riding, hunter pet trainers, or mage portal trainers. It covers more than 550 trainers, including Forever's new zones such as Zephras Isle.
• Nearest first. Trainers are grouped by continent. Each one shows its zone, coordinates and distance from you, and the distances update as you move. The summary line names the nearest one who can actually help you.
• One click to get there. Click a trainer to place the game's map pin on them. The pin is tracked, so the arrow points you there as you walk, and the world map opens to the spot. Shift-click links the location in chat for a friend. Right-click clears the pin. If you use TomTom, it gets a waypoint too.
• Map pins. With "Show on map" on, every trainer in your list appears as an icon on zone and city maps. Hover a pin for the details, or click it to set your waypoint.
• It knows what you need. It opens on your own class. Trainers who can't help you are greyed out: starting-area class trainers whose spells stop below your level, and profession trainers who can't take you past your current rank. The tooltip shows how far a trainer teaches (for example "Apprentice to Expert, up to 225 skill"), how many recipes they have, and your own skill.
• Weapon masters by weapon. Each weapon master lists the weapon skills they teach, and the tooltip marks the ones you already know.
• Search. Type a trainer's name, title or zone to filter the list. Type /trainers alchemy to jump straight to Alchemy trainers, or /trainers ironforge to see everyone in Ironforge.
• Your faction only, by default. Trainers who won't talk to you are hidden. Tick "Other faction" to see them greyed out, marked "Alliance only" or "Horde only".

How to open it

• Type /trainers (or /tl), use the minimap's addon menu, or set a key binding under Options > Keybindings > AddOns.
• Settings are under Options > AddOns > Trainer Locator: map pins, whether clicking opens the map, the other faction's trainers, and window scale.
