Search Item Effects

Looking for something more specific than raw stats?

Southfury can search the effect text on items, including:

Equip, Use, Chance on hit and similar effects.

Search terms such as spell power or healing to find gear matching the build you're planning.

Build Your Target Set

Click an item to add it to your planned equipment.

Your selected gear appears directly on your character model without changing your real equipment.

Rotate the model, compare your planned items with your currently equipped gear and save different setups as named sets.

Turn Your Set into a Farming Plan

Once you've built your target set, the Shopping List tells you how to get it.

Dungeon drops show their boss.
Quest rewards show their quest.
Crafted items show their materials.
Vendor items show their price.

Most importantly, Southfury looks at your entire planned set and helps identify the dungeon containing the most upgrades you still need.

How to Use

1. Open Southfury with /southfury, /sf or the minimap button.
2. Pick an equipment slot.
3. Filter and search for the gear you want.
4. Add items to your planned set.
5. Save the set if you want to keep it.
6. Open the Shopping List.
7. See what to farm and which dungeon gives you the most value.

Commands

/southfury or /sf — Open or close Southfury
/sf lang de|en|auto — Change language
/sf check — Compare calculated stats with client values
/sf missing — Show items the client hasn't returned yet

Good to Know

Item information comes from the game client. Items that aren't currently cached may take a few seconds to appear after the client loads them.

Effect-text search and stat calculations read English tooltip data and therefore work best on an English client.

Calculated stats are estimates and do not include buffs. Some WoW Forever caps and thresholds may still change or remain unconfirmed.

Raid coverage depends on the available item data.
