Ryo Nameplates

RyoUI is a performance-first nameplate addon for World of Warcraft Retail and Forever. It shows only what helps you act: a minimal, pixel-perfect design with instant combat feedback.

Features

Casts and interrupts

• Casting enemies move to the front, and their health bars take your clicks and mouseover interrupts
• A distinct look for each type of cast, with an optional pulse for important casts and casts targeting you
• The cast bar dims while your interrupt is on cooldown and marks when it will be ready

Health and threat

• Customizable health colors, in priority order: tap status, threat, focus, quests, classification, class, then reaction
• Tank-aware threat colors, including off-tanking
• A distinct color for your focus target
• Health bars pulse a few yards before you'd accidentally pull
• Execute markers, and power bars for important adds

Auras

• Show only important auras, or all of them
• Pandemic indicators and highlights for purgeable buffs

Friendly nameplates

• Pill-style nameplates for friendly players, simplified in instances

Visibility and motion

• Opacity levels for your target, mouseover, units fighting your group, and unengaged units
• Smooth animations for every state change, even in dense combat

Settings

Type /ryo or open the AddOns section of the game settings. Most changes apply instantly; protected nameplate settings apply once you leave combat.
