Rheizor — a complete, modular UI suite for WoW Forever
Rheizor replaces and improves most of the default interface of WoW Forever with one download and one settings window. Instead of installing and configuring ten different addons (a bar addon, a nameplate addon, unit frames, a threat meter, a tooltip addon, a minimap collector…), you install Rheizor, type /rz, and switch on only the parts you want. Everything shares the same look, the same profiles and the same "move things around" mode.
Beta. Rheizor is under active development. Please report bugs on the project page, ideally with the Lua error text (BugSack/BugGrabber) or a screenshot.
The interface is available in English and Spanish and follows your game language.
How it changes your game
- One place for everything.
/rzopens a single window with a page for every feature. Every option applies right away; you rarely need to/reload. - Only what you want. Each part is a separate addon inside the package. From the
/rzmanager you turn parts on or off. A fresh install starts with everything off, so nothing changes until you choose it. - Move anything.
/rz movershows a handle on every Rheizor element. Drag it, or nudge it pixel by pixel with the arrow keys. - Profiles and backups. Keep a different layout per character or share one across your account. Rheizor also takes automatic backups of your settings, and you can export or import a profile as text to share it with friends.
- Built for WoW Forever. Rheizor is written for the modern-engine Classic client and respects its limits. Where the game hides information in combat (enemy health, boss threat…), it shows what the game allows instead of guessing wrong numbers.
Features
Combat
- Nameplates (Plater-style). Enemy plates with your debuffs and their timers, a cast bar, and threat colours. Tanks see green while they hold aggro, orange when they are about to lose it and red when they lose it. When another tank in your group has the mob, its plate turns blue, so you don't taunt it back by mistake. Every colour, size and element can be configured.
- Unit frames (ElvUI-style). Player, target, target-of-target, focus and pet frames with configurable auras. There is an optional threat indicator on your target frame: a coloured border, a glow, a bar and a percentage, with pulse/flash/grow animations when you are about to pull aggro. The appearance of Blizzard's own frames can also be restyled.
- Tank detection. Rheizor knows when you are tanking: Defensive Stance, Bear Form, Righteous Fury, group role or raid main tank. It also knows who the other tanks in your group are, and group members running Rheizor tell each other automatically. Nameplates and unit frames use this to colour threat correctly for tanks and damage dealers.
- Threat meter (Omen-style). A list of everyone's threat on your target, with a warning bar before you pull aggro.
- Crowd control tracker. Timers for your stuns and CCs (Cheap Shot, Kidney Shot with its real duration from your combo points, Gouge, Sap, Blind…). It marks when a CC breaks or is resisted, shows diminishing returns (½, ¼, immune), shows other players' CC on your target when the game lets it be read, and shows the controls you are suffering yourself.
- Combo points. Rogue and cat druid combo points anywhere on screen or on your target's nameplate. Choose squares, circles or diamonds, in a line or an arc, with colours, animations, a glow and a sound at max points.
- Swing timer for your weapon swings, cast bars (player, target, focus, and crafting batches with the total time left), a totem bar for shamans, and your own scrolling combat text with incoming healing, mana, energy and rage regeneration.
- Cooldowns. Restyles Blizzard's Cooldown Manager (square icons, borders, fonts, layout, visibility) and adds your own bars for spells, items, trinkets, racials and auras, as icons or draining bars (
/rzcd).
Action bars and controls
- Action bars (Bartender-style). All 8 action bars plus the stance and pet bars. For each one you set position, size, rows, number of buttons, paging, when it is visible and mouseover fade. It adds a range tint and a flash when a cooldown finishes. Your key bindings stay the same.
- Action discs (OPie-style rings). Hold a key and a ring of spells, items, mounts or macros appears around your cursor. A slot can open another disc in an arc when you hover it. One button can fill a disc with your professions.
- Mouse. A ring around your cursor so you never lose it in fights, with styles, animations, glow and colour. It can show the global cooldown and your cast progress around the cursor. Optional trails and click effects, and "shake to find". You can also change cursor size, mouse speed and camera turn speed.
- Bars and the default UI. Hide or fade the XP bar, micro menu, bag bar and gryphons.
Interface
- Tooltips (TipTac-style). Configurable look and position, player and NPC info, health and power bars, and extra item and spell details.
- Chat. Class-coloured names, your name highlighted when someone mentions you, message history kept between sessions, and the input box above or below the chat. You can also fade the chat when unused and change fonts, backgrounds, tabs and buttons.
- Blizzard windows. A classic or dark theme for the default windows, quest levels and a better quest tracker, world map improvements, profession window extras (including Wowhead links), and the game's damage meter.
- Minimap. Square shape, detach and move it, and a collector for all addon minimap buttons (MBB-style), as a single button or a bar.
- Character stats. A detailed stats panel next to your character window, with attributes, melee, ranged, spell, defence and resistances.
- Console settings. Camera distance, names, combat, chat, sound and system options that normally need
/consolecommands, with a normal settings page.
Utilities
- Characters. Remembers every character on your account: gold, rested XP, bags, bank, mail and professions. Item tooltips show how many of that item each of your characters has (
/rz personajes). - Gear sets (ItemRack-style). Equipment sets with an on-screen button, key bindings and automatic swaps (mount, resting, forms). A swap waits until combat ends. It also adds a bar of equipped items with their cooldowns (
/rzgear). - Guild professions. See who in your guild has each profession and at what level, and which recipes they can craft, shared between guild members who use Rheizor (
/rzg). - Notes. On-screen notes written in Markdown: headings, lists, checkboxes you tick with a click, item and spell links, raid marks. Each note can show always, only in a group, raid or dungeon, or only in certain zones. A note can include a wish list that counts what you already own across bags, bank and your other characters (
/rznotas). - Flight timer. A bar with the time left until you land. It learns the exact time of every route the first time you fly it and shows it on the flight map.
- Raid tools. Raid marks, world markers, pull timer, ready check, and a durability check of your group.
- Automation. Auto-accept and turn in quests, sell junk, loot and bag settings.
Getting started
- Install Rheizor and restart the game completely.
- Type
/rz. The manager lists every part of Rheizor. Switch on what you want. - Open each page to configure it. Use
/rz moverto place elements on screen. - Optional: open Profiles to use one layout for all your characters, or import a friend's profile.
Commands: /rz (settings), /rz mover (move elements), /rzcd (cooldown bars), /rzgear (gear sets), /rzg (guild professions), /rznotas (notes).
Notes
- Rheizor is one download containing several addon folders (
Rheizor-Coreplus one folder per feature).Rheizor-Coreis required. You can disable any other part from/rzor from the game's AddOns list. - Some Rheizor parts overlap with popular addons (for example a bar addon or a nameplate addon). The
/rzmanager warns you when two addons would fight over the same thing. - Features that share information between players (guild professions, tank detection, shared notes, raid durability) only work with other players who also run Rheizor.
