Quest History

Quest History started as a personal project. I wanted to complete every quest in Azeroth and keep track of the journey — something to look back on later.

Eventually it turned into more of a journal, written from my character's point of view: what she did, what happened to her, how she felt about it. At first I just built it for my own roleplay notes, but I figured other players — especially lore nerds and completionists — might get some use out of it too. So here it is.

What it’s for

Keeping a running record of your character's story. Use it as raw material for a roleplay journal, a personal log, or whatever you want to build with it.

What it does

• Tracks quests in order 
  Every quest you complete gets saved with a timestamp, in the order you did it.
• Records the basics 
  Quest ID, title, quest giver, completer, location, texts, and date
• Quest log
  Now you can read your completed quests again
• Exports to JSON

• Notifications
  Chat notifications and a small popup are both optional and can be turned off. The popup just reminds you to reload the UI so your data actually gets saved to disk — if the game crashes, WoW doesn't save the database. Not much I can do about that, it's a WoW limitation.
