Outlaw turns World PvP in WoW: Forever into a persistent competition.

Install Outlaw and PvP the way you normally would. Your fights are tracked automatically, and you compete for rank on a public leaderboard and build a reputation, without changing your playstyle or chasing objectives.

How the Outlaw Game Play Loop works

• Kill enemy players in the open world to earn points called Infamy.
• How much Infamy you earn depends on factors including your opponent's level, their Infamy, the circumstances of the fight and whether you've repeatedly killed the same player.
• Infamy fades over time, and PvP deaths cost Infamy. So staying near the top means continuing to fight, and surviving.
• As your Infamy grows, your threat level rises: up to five ★ stars over your head that other Outlaw players can see, with fire from 3 stars and blue fire at 5.
• The basic idea is simple: fight often, take down valuable opponents, avoid farming the same people, and stay alive.

Outlaw isn't built around one definition of good World PvP.

Beyond the overall Most Dangerous ranking, it analyzes how you fight and ranks different kinds of World PvP separately.

Seasons and legacy

Using Outlaw puts your World PvP into an ongoing seasonal competition.

Different rankings produce different ways to distinguish yourself, and season results and honors are preserved on your Outlaw profile.

The Beta Season runs during the WoW: Forever beta, and Season 1 begins with WoW: Forever's launch on November 4.

Your profile becomes a history of what you've accomplished: rankings, records, streaks, zone dominance, honors and other World PvP accomplishments. Play before launch and keep a permanent Founding Outlaw badge.

Fair by design

Outlaw doesn't simply trust players to report their own results.

Fights are checked against combat-log evidence, including deaths.

Low-level kills and repeatedly farming the same opponent are worth substantially less. Only open-world Horde-vs-Alliance PvP counts: no duels, battlegrounds, dungeons or raids.

Competitive titles, crowns and prizes require the free Outlaw companion app so results can be verified consistently.

Outlaw adds:

•         Infamy display — Threat level, progress toward your next star and current kill streak

•         Threat nameplates — stars and fire on dangerous enemy Outlaws

•         THREAT nearby alerts

•         Most Dangerous — see who's #1, who's ahead of you and who holds the local zone crown

•         PvP hotspots

•         Fight history

•         Street rankings — the Outlaw players who were online when you were, even without the app

•         Takedowns — when someone on your side takes down a dangerous Outlaw, you can salute them

Getting on the rankings

The addon works by itself for your personal in-game statistics.

You may also appear on OutlawPvP.com as Unverified when another Outlaw player's app records a fight involving you.

The companion app reads your WoW combat log, verifies fights (deaths included), keeps Outlaw updated and synchronizes qualifying PvP activity with the website.
