Macro Wow Builder

Macro Builder is a visual, point-and-click macro generator for World of Warcraft: Forever. Instead of memorizing macro syntax, pick everything from menus and let the addon write the macro for you ΓÇö safely, and only while you're out of combat.

FEATURES

Simple Mode
Pick one ability, one target (your current target, mouseover, focus, yourself, your pet, arena opponents 1-5, or a ground point for AoE/trap abilities), and a reaction filter (allies only, enemies only, or any). Optionally add a fallback target so the macro still does something useful even if your first choice isn't valid.

Advanced Mode (combos)
Pack up to four different behaviors into a single keybind, one for each of Shift, Ctrl, Alt, and the plain keypress ΓÇö each with its own ability, target, and fallback. This is the same trick players use to fit an entire rotation's worth of options onto one button.

Not just spells
Any ability slot (Simple or Advanced) can also be a bag item, your top or bottom trinket, or an on-use enchant on your gloves, belt, or cloak ΓÇö not only spells.

Extra actions (burst macros)
Stack up to four off-global-cooldown actions on top of your main ability: another spell (racials, cooldowns), a bag item, a trinket, a gear enchant, or cancelling one of your own buffs ΓÇö plus toggles for /stopcasting, /petattack, and /startattack. A macro can even be extra-actions-only, with no main spell at all.

Never overwrites your macros
If the name you pick is already taken, the addon creates a new macro with a similar name instead of silently replacing what you had.

Export / import your whole macro list
Back up every macro you have (account and character) as a single block of text, or share it with a friend so they can recreate your entire setup in one paste. No code execution involved ΓÇö the text is parsed field by field, never run as Lua.

Minimap button
Click to open or close the window; drag it anywhere around the minimap.

Spanish and English
Switch languages from inside the window; the addon remembers your choice.

HOW TO USE

Type /macrobuilder (out of combat) to open the window. Choose Simple or Advanced mode, fill in the pickers, check the live preview, and click Generate Macro.

NOTES

- Macro creation is blocked in combat by Blizzard's own API ΓÇö this isn't an addon limitation.
- Everything is read from your live spellbook and bags, so the lists always match what you actually have.
