iRC is a WoW Classic guild companion for any type of guild.

It supports normal raiding, leveling, social, and community guilds as well as RaceLocked, Self-Found, and Guild Found challenge guilds.

It also works as a server-wide guild browser, allowing players, including players without a guild or players in unrelated guilds to discover participating guilds and view their current statistics and leaderboards.

Main Features

Guild Bank Overview

iRC provides tools for managing and viewing guild banking information. Guild Found guilds can also maintain synchronized lists of approved Guild Bank and personal-bank characters.

Shared Professions & Recipes

Guild members automatically share profession information and searchable recipes through iRC. This makes it easier to find the right crafter inside the guild without repeatedly asking in guild chat.

Guild Map

Guild members can optionally share temporary outdoor positions directly on the World Map.

Features include:

• Personal controls for sharing your position
• Personal controls for displaying guild members
• Class-colored markers
• Character name, class, and level
• No position sharing from instances
• No saved location history

Guild Map sharing must first be enabled by the Guild Master.

Guild Homepage & Recruitment

Guilds can create their own profile inside iRC.

Guild information can include:

• Custom guild description
• Guild icon
• Active guild rules

Same-faction invite contacts are clickable and can immediately open a whisper.

This information is also available through the Server Guild Browser.

Server Guild Browser & Leaderboards

Discover active guilds directly through iRC.

Guilds can be filtered by:

• Normal
• Race-Locked
• Guild-Found
• Self-Found

Guild reports automatically expire after five days so outdated guilds do not remain visible.

Recent guild reports can also be shared between iRC users, improving guild discovery even when you are not directly connected to that guild.

Each guild profile can show:

• Active level 60s during the last 30 days
• Active members during the last 30 days
• Highest known online count during the last 24 hours
• Total guild members
• Race distribution
• Class distribution
• Guild description
• Guild icon
• Invite contacts
• Active guild rules
• Report source
• Last update time

This effectively turns iRC into a server guild browser and guild leaderboard system.

Guild Statistics

iRC provides detailed statistics about your own guild and participating guilds.

Statistics include:

• Member activity
• Level distribution
• Class distribution
• Race distribution
• Level 60 activity
• Guild size
• Online activity
• Guild rules
• Guild information and contacts

Guild Verification (When required by challenge rulesets)

Guild Masters and authorized officers can verify the complete guild roster.

iRC can identify:

• Current iRC users
• Compatible RaceLocked users
• Missing or expired addon responses
• Incorrect character races when Race Lock is enabled
• Missing Self-Found status
• Unverified Guild Found status
• Clean or flagged economy status
• Offline members
• Members requiring officer attention

Authorized officers can request fresh verification, inspect reports, contact members, and record manual decisions.

Self-Found & Guild Found Combo Support or Guild Found Only Support

iRC can verify whether characters meet the guild's configured Self-Found or Guild Found rules.

When Guild Found economy restrictions are enabled, iRC can:

• Allow transactions between verified guild members
• Support designated Guild Bank characters
• Support designated personal-bank characters
• Block unauthorized external trades
• Block outgoing mail to unauthorized characters
• Prevent restricted external mail from being collected
• Block Auction House use
• Monitor character money
• Detect gold discrepancies
• Record blocked actions for officer review
• Allow specifically configured external trade exceptions

Guild Bank characters are maintained through a synchronized guild list showing who added each character and when.

Optional Guild Rules

Every guild decides how iRC should operate.

Installing iRC does not automatically enable any challenge restrictions.

A normal guild can use iRC purely for statistics, guild discovery, onboarding, professions, maps, verification, and officer tools.

Available optional rules include:

• Race Lock
• Native racial language
• Self-Found only
• Guild Found
• Self-Found or Guild Found progression
• Guild Found at level 60
• Same-race groups
• Guild-only groups
• Configurable minimum levels
• Maximum-level exceptions
• Approved non-guild trade exceptions
• Guild Map position sharing

Rules only affect a character when iRC is active for that guild.

Welcome Messages & Onboarding

Guild Masters and authorized officers can configure onboarding tools for new members, including:

• Welcome messages
• Guild information
• Guild rules
• Invite and officer contacts

Safe Group Rule Enforcement

When race or guild-group restrictions are enabled, iRC can detect invalid groups and explain the violation to the player.

Hardcore safety is prioritized.

iRC will:

• Never automatically leave during combat
• Never automatically leave inside an instance
• Never automatically leave while travelling by taxi
• Confirm violations with a delayed second check
• Protect existing groups when rules begin applying after login, reload, or level-up
• Clearly display unresolved unsafe groups
• Record confirmed incidents for authorized officers

Officer Tools & Incident Tracking

Eligible officer clients coordinate automatically so multiple officers do not send duplicate warnings.

iRC can record:

• Missing-addon warnings
• Race-rule violations
• Group-rule violations
• Guild Found economy blocks
• Approved trade-exception activity
• Gold discrepancies
• Time and location
• Involved players

When a member enters a Needs Attention state, authorized officers receive a combined notification after a short delay and periodic reminders while the issue remains unresolved.

Delegated Officer Permissions

Guild Master functionality defaults to the Guild Master and rank 1.

The Guild Master can independently configure the lowest guild rank allowed to access systems such as:

• Verification decisions
• Presence checks
• Automatic warnings
• Incident history
• Guild Bank exceptions
• Welcome notifications
• Guild Homepage information
• Invite contacts

Race Talk

Optional race-specific chat styles add readable roleplay flavor to messages you send.

Currently supported:

• Troll Talk
• Tauren Talk
• Night Elf Talk
• Undead Speak

Secure Guild Configuration

The Guild Master controls which iRC features and rules are enabled.

Configuration synchronization uses verified guild authority:

• Guild Master packages always have the highest authority
• Authorized officers can relay established settings when required
• Conflicting packages are validated against sender name and current guild rank
• Rulesets with identical timestamps must also contain identical data
• Management changes use separate synchronized packages
• Background traffic and profanity checks are deferred during combat
