Hashenvale — the guild addon for WoW Forever

An RPG guild addon · made by @pounish. Every window in the Warcraft III style: wood and iron, glossy bars, blue and gold buttons.

Hashenvale is a semi-casual PvP guild on World of Warcraft: Forever. This addon connects your character to the guild: hashenvale.com counts what you do, and the game shows it — your guild XP and level, your rank, your chapter's missions, the guild's roster, a dungeon journal and the bounties.

What you get in the game

• The guild bar above your action bars: your guild XP toward your next Renown (bronze, in the Warcraft III style of the whole addon), with your Renown written on it. A floating “+N guild XP” rises above your action bars as you earn it.
• The guild window (/hv, the guild bar or the minimap button):
  • Guild — the guild's own Guild Level (every character's guild XP together), your Renown, your rank, the chapter you are playing, how much of your guild XP was earned with the guild, what you still need for the next rank, the message of the day, the guild information and who is online.
  • Ranks — the ten-rank ladder with its emblems, what each rank asks (a Renown + its chapter) and what it unlocks.
  • Chapter — your chapter's missions, ticked as you do them, with what each one asks.
  • Roster — the whole guild by guild XP, the share earned with the guild, honorable kills or kills today, with each one's Renown and everyone's addon version.
  • Dungeons — a dungeon journal: every dungeon by level, its bosses (ticked when you killed them), who in the guild cleared it, and its quests for your side and class — who gives each one, where (with coordinates), its chain and reward. Click a quest for a pin on your map.
  • Bounties — every hunt, sorted by level, 12 a page: each target with its portrait, level, zone and spot, ticked as you kill it, what it pays and who in the guild has claimed it. Click a hunt for a pin on your map. x2 with 3 of the guild at the kill.
• A ding at every Renown — the game's reputation level-up sound, the level in gold, a line in the guild chat, and a toast every tenth level.
• The gear planner, in the game (2.0.0) — the Planner tab is your list from hashenvale.com/gear: every slot's goal, its fallbacks, where it drops, a tick when you have it. Click a slot to choose from the guild's catalog with the site's own filters (words, dungeon, class, armor type, level, stats), or alt-click any item to make it its slot's goal; fallbacks sit beside the goal as small boxes; New starts an empty list and Lists keeps several - a whole list without leaving the game. Copy a guild list, export and import a code. One list, two doors: what you change in the game reaches the site with your next sheet, and the last change wins. The Dungeons tab shows each boss's loot.
• Hotkeys — Shift+H opens the guild window (only if the key was free); every page can have its own key in Options > Keybindings > AddOns > Hashenvale, none until you set it.
• Invasions of Alliance towns — Forever has no dishonorable kills, so the war is back: a town's leaders and its flight master pay guild XP once a day each, every guard pays (up to 50 a day), double with a guildie beside you. Every leader and 10 guards of one town in a day sacks it — a toast, the guild chat and the guild's Discord hear about it.
• Toasts when you finish a mission, when you claim a bounty, when a guildie in your party finishes a mission, and when an item of your gear list drops. Right click sends one away.
• The guild chat says it when a guildie finishes a mission, claims a bounty, reaches a new Renown or loots a piece of their gear list.
• Options (Options > AddOns > Hashenvale, or right click the minimap button): the bar, its place, the floating “+N guild XP”, where the guild activity is written (the Hashenvale chat tab, the main chat or off) and which kinds, the minimap button, the guild-chat lines.

Guild XP and ranks

Everything you do pays guild XP: levelling, quests (20), bosses (50), and kills, gathering and crafting by their colour (gray 1, green 2, yellow 3, orange 5; a node pays per strike, up to 4), PvP by the honor it awards (10 honor = 10 guild XP), professions, books. It gives your character Renown with no cap - and every character of the guild together raises Hashenvale's own Guild Level. What you play with a guildie beside you counts double. Your Renown plus every mission of your chapter is your rank — the chapters ask dungeons with the guild, so a rank is earned with us, never by arriving at level 60. Getting started

1. Install this addon (search “Hashenvale” in the CurseForge app).
2. Sign in on hashenvale.com with Discord (or Battle.net).
3. On your account page make a link code, then type /hv link CODE in the game — one code per character.
4. Optional: install the companion from your account page (Windows) and leave it open while you play. While it runs, your PC also carries guildies' sheets, automatically. Without it, a guildie online with a companion carries yours.
5. After an update, /reload is enough (a full restart only when new art ships).

What the addon reads, and where it goes

Nothing is sent while you play — addons cannot reach the internet. At every logout or /reload the addon seals a sheet of your character in the game's saved files: level, gear, talents, professions and recipes, bags and bank, reputations, PvP numbers, Legacy, library books, named kills and bosses, the guild roster (names, levels, classes, ranks). The companion carries it to hashenvale.com, where the guild's members see it. Gold, bags and bank are never shown on the guild's pages.
