ForeverTooltip

ForeverTooltip

ForeverTooltip moves the main Blizzard tooltip to your mouse cursor and gives you control over its size, position and displayed information.

It is designed to remain lightweight while making unit, item and spell tooltips easier to read without looking away from the action.

Features

• Tooltip follows the mouse cursor
• Default size is 20% smaller than Blizzard’s standard tooltip
• Adjustable tooltip scale from 50% to 150%
• Eight cursor anchor positions:
  • Top right
  • Top left
  • Bottom right
  • Bottom left
  • Right
  • Left
  • Above
  • Below
• Adjustable X and Y cursor offsets
• Screen-edge clamping
• Saved settings
• Configuration interface using /ft

Configurable unit information

Choose whether unit tooltips show:

• Player or NPC title
• Guild
• Level
• Class or creature type
• Current target
• Instant hiding when the cursor leaves the unit

Configurable item information

Choose whether item tooltips show:

• Item description
• Requirements
• Binding information
• Sell price

Commands

• /ft or /forevertooltip opens the configuration interface
• /ft reset restores the default settings

Important notes

ForeverTooltip modifies the main Blizzard GameTooltip. Specialised tooltips created by other add-ons may retain their own positioning.

Item information filtering currently recognises the English client’s tooltip wording.

Designed for the WoW Forever beta client:

• Forever beta 1.60.1
• Interface version 16001
