Major Update – ForeverBooks Integration & UI Improvements

ForeverSecrets has evolved from a dedicated Cozy Sleeping Bag guide into a modular collection of hidden quests, discoveries, and collectibles for World of Warcraft Forever.

The biggest addition is the integration of ForeverBooks, bringing library book tracking and exploration features into one addon.

New: ForeverBooks Integration

  • Integrated ForeverBooks into ForeverSecrets.

  • Added a complete Library Books section.

  • Preserved book locations, coordinates, descriptions, screenshots, and map markers.

  • Added book collection progress and reward tracking.

  • Added inventory and completion status filters.

  • Added zone filtering and book detail views.

  • Added support for importing existing ForeverBooks data.

  • Book completion is tracked individually for each character, ensuring every character can collect books and earn rewards independently.

  • Fixed missing book icons and improved texture handling.

  • Removed the need for a separate ForeverBooks minimap button.

New: Welcome & Navigation

  • Added a dedicated Welcome page.

  • Added selection cards for Cozy Sleeping Bag and Library Books.

  • Added custom artwork for both sections.

  • Simplified navigation to Welcome and Settings.

  • Unified window dimensions across all sections.

  • Prepared the interface for additional secrets and collections in future updates.

Cozy Sleeping Bag Improvements

  • Preserved live DE/EN language switching without /reload.

Fixes

  • Fixed missing faction emblem textures.

  • Fixed missing Welcome page artwork caused by incorrect texture paths.

  • Fixed several book icon loading issues.

  • Improved compatibility of packaged texture files.

  • Fixed ZIP packaging issues affecting Windows extraction.

  • Corrected character-specific book completion tracking to prevent progress from being incorrectly shared across characters.

Looking Ahead

ForeverSecrets is now designed as an expandable collection platform. Future updates may introduce additional hidden quest chains, collectibles, special rewards, and discoveries.
